Let me tell you what you have done here in PVE

pistoleers and other professions will soon really be bad off because we wont have the ability to get uber loot tissue samples like commandos and bounty hunters because we cant do 4000 to 8000 point shots in pve.

Did you even think of this at all ?

commandos and bounty hunters can 1 shot kill you with a TEF........Did you think of this at all ?

thats fine their damage but every other combat class needs i shot kill weapons too and the same damage in PVE

Or do you want everyone to be bounty hunters and commando's ?

Because very soon these 2 classes will have all the loot will have the very best weapons and everyone else will quit .

Is that what you want ...if not you better fix this mess fast ! or in the long run your pvp system will be trash totally domminated by a few people on each server.

My god open your eyes and act on this

STOP this terrible PVE damage as fast as possible !

Or this game is going down the tubes

Um. I'm a pistoleer. I do 4000+ shots in PvE.

deadnewbie, if you cant be constructive in the forums why dont you just leave. He was saying doing 4k damage using only Pistoleer skills.

and your using a uber loot pistol dead newbie you all ready said so in another post

And 6k was too low i have seen Bhs make 8K pve shots and commandos make 11k shots

see how fast a Kryate dragon goes down ?

All you need is a pet to tank for a minute and 1 dead dragon

the only quick fix i see for this is to stop uber loot drops until a solutition can be found

I have an uber krayt pistol (3 actually). I've never used any of them in PvE or PvP. I'm waiting for my uber non-krayt pistols to break first.

I can pull 4000 shots with stopping shot if I lead with pistol whip to benefit from 50% bonus to knocked down toargets. Seriously, consider knocking a target down first before going in for a stopping shot. None of my massive recorded shots are done with krayt weapons yet.

I solo krayts with my FWG5. Big damage isn't everything.

Can you please for the love of god stop bitching about other classes until ours is playable? Thanks.

I am nearly a master pistoleer and have never done damage anywhere near 4k in one shot. What pistol and what special can do that much damage?

All my massive recorded damage are done while the mob is knocked down. I'm also using a FWG5. Its original stats was 50-195 sliced up 32% then I throw a 32% max damage power up on top of it. The final result is a FWG5 with top end damage at 334. If you're not firing with a power up, you're missing out on damage.

Yes, and meanwhile BH and Commando's are getting 650+ without powerups or slicing, and I have seen one over 1k damage with a slice, no powerup. And your saying that our 195, which my server has still failed to see, is comparible to this? Please, go talk crap elsewhere.

Are comparing pistols to pistols? Heavy weapons are not pistols. Heavy weapons don't have the accuracy pistols do. Apples vs. oranges. Why don't you go cry that rifleman are seeing 500 damage weapons that you don't?

If you're not seeing high end weapons it might be because your weaponsmiths all suck.

I'm sorry, but you need to stop comparing a pistol which is better than most servers have seen to lame crappy pistols and carbines. In the league you are comparing there are rifles and carbines which are hitting for well over 1k on a base non-special attack.

BTW I call absolute BS on your 4k figure anyways - 195 base x 1.4 (awesome damage slice) x 1.33 (33% damage power up) x 5 best pistoleer special damage modifier x 1.5 (50% bonus vs KD'd target) = ALL that still only equals 2162! 2k - get it?Not evendouble what a NON SPECIAL'd carbine or rifle shot could do to the same target.

Yes there are still some problems with the accuracy system - but its not unique to pistoleers. A good rifleman/carbineer will hardly ever miss either - just like a higher end pistoleer.

There are even larger problems with the speed system - making the supposed speed advantage of pistols meaningless at higher skills.

I'm curious... how do you know a knockdown grants +50% damage? I just got PMD recently and I haven't noticed this. I've even been trying it out extensively, just about every fight, to get a feel for it.

The modifier data you have is incorrect. That's all I'll say.
