If Pistoleer isn't fixed by the next big patch update, Im either dropping it altogether....or canceling my subscription if they don't do something to make me want to play this game anymore.

I have spent the last 3 hours on a character builder, trying to maximize my skills to get hte most of what I have vs dont have, and I almost dropped my Pharm skills and master Ch to get Bh and 2 boxes for eye shot. But I thought, why sac all I have done just to get a skill to own pvp, when they will prob nerf it in a month?

I am a master ch, master scout, Pistoleer 0-0-4-2, Medic 0-0-4-0 ( to use exp Stim D's) and Marksman 0-4-0-4. I am currently gonna get some more pistoleer, although with the lack of skills or guns that work, I really don't see a point, other than *crosses fingers* Devs fixes it once and for all like they did Commando.

It is a dang shame I have played this game since release, been stagnat at my professions for well over a month, and have nothing to do in game anymore worthwhile. The skills I have now don't cut it in PVP, there is no content to play PvE anymore, and the only fun I had taming was FG - they are extinct now baby wise.

So the ultimatim does down....fix it or I quit, and I would love to see some numbers of people they have lost since the last patch.

Guess they had to finally shut the boards to public view, so prospective customers won't come here and see how F'd up their game is currently.

I hear you, Bro. I'm pretty fed up with Pistoleer myself. The whole plan I had for my character has been out the window because Pistoleer is so screwed up. I'm giving the Devsa couple of monthsbefore I jump ship.

I think you're exactlly right. There's plenty that has been broke since release and none of its been fixed. There's not even been acknowledgement by the devs that it's broke. Right now it's all about are we willing to wait and keep paying until it finally gets fixed, and at this rate that could sill be many months away. When they closed the boards to the public, it becaame pretty obvious they're trying to hide something.

/Agreed! If I dont see the developers spending more time on fixing player base issues and less on timesinks and nerfs I am out as well! Boredom is fast setting in!

god why do u all whine so much aint like ya got the worst proffesion how many mmo games have ya played. most where just bout unplayable 4 months after realese.. and to the poster pistoler is not a high tier class. ur not supposed to be uber.. pistoler leaves u xp points so u can balance on ur own. i know u have problems with specials and stuff. but comon ur not that bad for what ur professions meant to be a complimentary skill...

Why don't you leave us alone and go back to your own forum? Obviously you have no clue what our profession "is about" in the first place.

We're not asking to be "uber" ... we'd just like something about our class to WORK, as opposed to all our broken specials and defenses.

So screw off and go back to your own forum unless you have something intelligent to say, troll.

yea its funny. I picked fencer/pistoleer and i seem to have got dicked on both ends. The knockdown nerf screwd up both professions. The defenses not working screw up both professions. Im a broke guy till they fix something heh. Oh and both have a bad selection of weapons/broke weapons!

Too much whines, I admit Badin (and the whiner is...PISTOLEERS !)

Now, FYI, Pistoleer is NOT a complementary skill (or why is there the MASTER Pistoleer title ?). It IS an elite porfession, even if it bothers ultra skill points casty BH/Comando and so...we should be much better than what we are (even twice better would still not be even the half of what they are) and should have some reasons to exist. Maybe NOVICE Pistoleer can be considered as a complementary skill but surely not the Master Title.

In SW universe, pistols are the most common weapon, almost everyone owns one (just because some planets are just very dangerous) so someone Mastering every aspect of a Pistol should be noticely better than the average user. Atm, this is not the case.

I'm still amazed some ppl decide what a profession is meant or not to be. As stated before me, if you have no constructive input to add, just avoid to post.

For the "whining" part, just try to keep in mind Pistoleers aren't whiners as a prerequisite...we "whine" because there are MANY things to enhance/fix/change/add in our profession. You are telling us you are part of the Pistoleer tree, let me tell you you are NOT a Pistoleer if you only grab our Speed line to enhance the BH Pistol line...and I really hope same tier of bonuses won't stack in a very near future, forcing those ppl to be master pistoleer to get a speed bonus will show them how long and difficult is the Master Pistoleer way...

ps : there no complemntary profession as long as this is an elite one. Medic is a complementary one, entertainer too...not Pistoleer.

Strongest skills currently (to HAVE, which ignores the skills that are important for creating stuff you would like to buy)

- Commando heavy weapons
- BH LLC line
- Creature Handler Taming and Training lines
- Combat Medic disease line
- Doctor buffs line

- BH pistol line, but I wouldn't consider it as good as the others

- Maybe the rifleman mind pool line? Due to CRAPPY design (how speed skills work) and the fact that riflemen get to 90 speed at master, they can become quite powerful, but having to get to master in a skill to see your full potential actually strikes me as pretty balanced. Perhaps the effectiveness of a master riflemen should be taken as a middle point to balance the others around.

And that's about it. Some balance would be nice. The Carbineer line that gives them their action pool targetted shots should be strong enough to be useful, and our line that gives us BS3 should be strong enough to be useful.

But unfortunately they're not...

And I think that all the melee classes are hurting in most situations, although they can inflict major damage when they get in close.
