Btw, I was on Lok a week ago, killing mercenaries and pirates. I was doing well (grouped) when all of a sudden I'm down! At first I thought I had gotten careless and wasn't watching my HAM. I ran up through the combat spam...I got hit by MTPS for 1400 dmg...from a pirate! I was really irritated...

Muti-Target Pistol Shot. It's a master Pistoleer AoE special attack.
Glad to know that it seems to work for NPCs though. ![]()

Could someone please explain exactly what multi target pistol shot does? I just hit master gunfighter last night, I walked outside of mos eisley straight up to the small mobs outside. I targeted one and used MTPS one time, it only hit the creature i targeted. I tried again and it didn't even fire. What gives? How does this shot work?

If you want to find out how useless and what it does, because it does work. You need to go find a low level mob like rasps on talus shoot one, when they all mob you use multi target. all enemies within an area will take damage, but the initial target will take the most and when its dead you will have to re-target another main enemy and start process over again.. I think the power of the shot is divided between all enemies with a larger percentage going towards the initial target.

Right. But it's not onyl cumbersome to use, but it's worse than just tabbing between the mobs and using other specials, at the moment.

They claim they are ... we talked to the Devs about it and they know of the problem. We're just waiting for a fix.
