Thread: THE NERF coming to a server near you.. show times vary
This says it all.. Its a waste of my breath to say how ignorant and stupid these developers are. Not to mention that my pistol whip / knock down as a master has a 40% chance of actually hitting.. not to mention they reduced the KD down time to 5 sec.. and the creatures may actually lay down on their screens but due to ping time and lag. the ones I hit falldown in one sec and are back up the next and stunned for another 1 sec so I cant run away or get any distance.. My god these nerds need to learn how to quick wacking off to porn sites and learn how to balance a game.
COMBAT
I agree with a lot of sentiments in this post, I have seen many many games with infinitely better balancethan swg, so good that people (at the highest skill level)have been arguing over which race/team/species is best for years after the game was released (with only VERY minor patches).
My personal view is that the people trying to balance swg are relative newbies when it comes to the subject.
The multiple nerf and counter nerfs on the T21 and knockdown (cringe) are perfect examples of how clueless they seem to be.
This is getting to be freakin ridiculus.
I shoulda been a chef.
- Increased damage of all knockdown moves
- Decreased pistolwhip 1/2 damage
What is Pistolwhip damage compared to the other KD damages? Could it be that PW is/was higher than the others, and they are reducing it to be in-line with the other KDs (meaning, that originally our PW was 2x the other KD damages)?
It just occurred to me that this might be the case...

It's worse, because they accidentally also nerfed:
Disarming Shot 2 now doesn't do AOE damage.
PBOAE2 does not do AOE damage (maybe never did, I didn't use it early on).
Neat, I know.
