Many of the pistoleers i have talked to, and read about, are mostly using the fwg5...

Did i miss something? Why is the fwg5 best for pistoleer right now, or is?

Help would be greatly appreciated

use multiple guns not just one differn things you shoot have differnt resists i use a dx2 (acid) fwg5 (heat) striker its weak but does kenetic scout or sr combat (energy) tangle weak but does stun

FWG5 is popular because of it's high damage numbers. It also has decent accuracy for a pistol. Personally, I have a crazy-fast (1.2 sec) FWG, and I like to use it to spam stopping shot with when I'm hepped on on tatooine sunburn.

Disadvantages are heat damage (which many mobs are armored against) and relatively high HAM cost. Also slighly higher speed than a really fast gun like a scout.

But Gundam is right, you need to carry multiple pistols, and change them depending on the target.

right now im using a SR combat on steroids.71-177 damage 3.2 speed, 34% wound chance. i cant wait to see what happends when i slice it.

definitely depends on resists and remember armor piercing is dx2, and it makesa BIG difference vs armored opponents.

reason i like fwg best if it is a viable choice is my gun: 1.8 speed 78-286 damage

yes it is a custom, yes it uses dragon parts to make, yes it was all great experiments (except one meiocre one), yes it used great materials. I have only seen ONE better fwg5 ever. I can hit for over 2k no problem with stopping shot.

DX2, fwg, scout are all on my toolbar

use /examine

if armor exists dx2 is the gun, otherwise use what has the least resist.

Yea, fwg is the best pistoleer gun because of devastating power (399 max with a powerup) and quickness (1.7), so when compared to dx2's that are much slower and not nearly as strong...there really is no comparison...thanks

i use a fwg5 66-367 power up puts it well in the 400's made from a max damage 50 tissiue 1.5 speed its my pvp gun i use a dx2 122-302 (with power up) and a scout blaster speed 1.4 148-312 (with power up) pvp with them guns fwg5's allways seem tp pack the biggest hit tho i like to switch guns in the middle of fighting
