Thread: Healthshot 2 is bugged

I just got Novice Pistoleer today.. I kept using my usual overcharge 1/body shot but i decided to try out health shot alongside.. It worked great.. So great i started using it at the start of the fights..

However, i thought this was a problem with lag from my ISP or something, but since i have started starting fights with HealthShot 2 nothing happens to the enemies HAM pool untill the bleeding ticks. I didn't realize this at first and just assumed it was lag, but then i started getting suspicous and started using bodyshot to start fights again, and voilla it worked fine again.
Just to make sure i ofcourse tried it some more and for example Song Rasps have 850 HAM. i pumped in over 3000 damage before the bar even moved, how is that possible on a 850 HAM mob?

Anyway, it's definetly bugged unless i'm missing something here..

Healthshot 1 and 2 are identical in this respect...they are Damage Over Time. You'll see no initial ham damage. Check your combat window and you can see Healthshot (in combat window "Sap Shot") hit. You can then rest assured that within 20 seconds you'll see the bleed go off. ( so long as you haven't killed the mob yet) This is working as intended. (I think)

hmm really? they are ONLY bleeding? i kinda thought they were supposed to be normal hit AND bleeding. So it's useless to fire health shot mroe than once per fight?

Well that depends on the the mob and how much damage you do with your first one. I sometimes fire it off more then once just to get the chancefor a higher damage bleed. I keep the combat chat up and watch what damageI do if its a low one and I have the time and or inclination I will shot the mob again.

Health shot one and two are the best things that pistoleers get. You can stack them for double damage.....write a macro that will hit for one and two......as you keep hitting them with body shot 2......they will bleed to death. You will learn to love the bleed one and two......they will become you new best friend. If you get incap and they are still bleeding.....you will get the xp when they die and you are incap. How can you beat that?
