because I read the bio on my character of choice. my race is proficient with pistols and a war like race anyway. I recieved off the bat a +10 pistol speed and have ben working the heck out of the combat stats column on pistoleer to continue to increase this advantage. I also am working the marksman tree first so that my char is not only fast, but also accurate, currently in need only 200,000 points to max the marksman tree.

Then I will work the stances and grips for the shots that come to pistoleer. I really think that most people are crying to loudly about 'boinked' specials when in fact I found all my specials are working so far. if you engage a target at range with a pistol prepare to die!!! if a blaster wielding NPC attacks me I will pull him away from his comrades, then CHARGE to him and lay hisaggressiveness out. press peace and let the healthshot work. if you shoot him he gets right up!! I have defeated red conned Garyn followers with this tactic. you as a player have the responsibility to figure out how your shot works.

in the same vein how many of you know which scout trap boosts combat XP? if you do then you have 'learned' how to use this trap, just the same as learning how to use your shots.
