You should go to your room and cry. Because the 30 second timer they are about to slap on Knockdowns is going to hurt you more than any of the jerks who spam Knockdowns in PvP.

But to answer your question more constructively.. With a decent pistol and a Panther, you should be pretty well set to go up against Tortons on Rori, or their equivalent on Talus (Torturs?).

A fairly conservative strategy that works well until they add the timer: Mask scent and kneel,bleeds, a shot or 2, send in the pet, then alternate between pistol whip, and a couple of damage shots.

That limits some of the damage your pet will take, but can eat up your Action if you're using a high HAM pistol or doing too many specials.

cool, thanks for the idea. Talus seems to be the best bet, cuz its nice and low-populated away from the imp outpost. i was there earlier this week, and fighting a pack of regular sludge panthers, getting about 2k pistol from them apiece. unfortunately, one spawns every 15 seconds to replace the pack, so eventually my greater sludge panther ran out of HAM and we were forced to run away. maybe i should go back and try again w/ pistol whip and if that goes well, move to torturs (those things are huge).

do you know if Torturs are social (bring friends when attacked)? that was a major downfall of those aggro panthers.

Today is the last day your pistol whip will be godly. Enjoy it while you can. Get out your scout pistol and some stim b's and go to town on just about anything. The super secret strategy is this:

1. Sick pet on mob

2. Pistol whip

3. Healthshot 2

4. Healthshot 1

5. Pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip

6. Heal yourself

7. Pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip pistol whip

Tomorrow these days will be over. It's probably better that way heh.

heh, momfo, you can eliminate step 6 if you just get yourself buffed by a good doc I've gotten pretty decent soloing the missions on dath. The nightsister slavers are pretty hit and miss (even with a 2k buff, one of their evil 3k hits does kock me out) but I can do baz nitch missions without a worry. Great xp too.

So my suggestion... go to Dathomir! do some 10k credit missions, while getting 3k-4k xp per baz nitch, 9 per lair, 80k xp each time out.

I FINALLY got pistol whip, so I was wondering what is the place to go to hunt solo? I have a greater sludge panther pet, buthe cant tank for long since i dont have high medic skills. i would group, but i dont have much time to play now that school is in and my job is picking up (1 hour of free time a night).

anywho, any suggestions as to where and what I should hunt would be greatly appreciated. my pistoleer skills are 0-0-2-1, so please take that into account

oh, and if you suggest a mob that is kinda specific to certain area, can you let me know the quickest way to get there?
