yay for soe...they remove something from a master skill and replace it with NO EFFECT? great job now we have 2 master skills that are totally horrible.!!!! tnx a lot



multi target does nothing half the time and when it does its some pathetic damage.


disarming shot 2? does 0 just like disarming shot 1...it doesnt even hurt weapons like it says i tested disarmingshot1 on a guildy and in 30 times i hit him with it his condition on weap stayed the same.



now heres to hoping the defense mods are WORKING in which case ill be thrilled and may not be as angry.

Oh no? it was a gift? great gift from developers. They are care about us, they always do something pathetic. New titles, thank you mega stars -we need only new titles - others problem is so unimpotant.


Do you have knockdown on DS2 - its bug, must be fixed. Great job.


Is bug fixed? Yes. Is work done? Sure.


Why are you crying about problems? Are you master gunfighter - what else do you need? Its cool title.

Who cares about defense mods...I can't even solo a red /consider any more...

The devs put a post out that says NOBODY is supposed to be able to solo a red. That is why they dropped the BH targets down because they were always red.

I dont care so much about the knockdown changes, they were due and PVP will be much better because of it.


What I do mind is having any utility we had stripped from our class without any new specials to compensate. The only thing pistoleers can do now is damage & bleed.Pistol Whip is the only real "special" we have, and it is practicly useless now due to the KD nerf. We didn't have much utility before the nerf (other then disarm 2, which was more of the same anyway) after the nerf we are left as a shell of a profession with only random HAM attacks the work. Hell our bleeds are even sub-par to the other advanced combat professions due to the pistol damage being lower then rifles are carbines.


With the changes to composite, padded armor & armorsmithing in general,I would expect to see alot more people wearing armor. Because of this, our AR0 and sub standard AR1 pistols will not pack the punch required to compete in PVP.

These are dark days for our profession. I truely hope the dev's throw us a bone and give us some utility. Without going hybridbounty hunter, smuggler, or commandoI feel that we will be the weakest PVP class arround. Imyself plan to keep the "master" level because its what I have stuck with since the beta test. I just hope that eventually the dev's notice the lack of "master" pistoleers and start wondering why.

I tested diarmingshot2 today. I am a master pistoleer with pistol 3 on the bh tree. I used a scatter pistol on my target.


The target's weapon was 910/910 condition when we began. I shot his weapon 5 times with diarmingshot2 and the resulting condition ofhis weapon was 909/910. The dmg done to the target was moderate and basically useless.


Getting Master Pistoleer is now only for the Mods. The skills are useless. I am thinking about dropping mastership and getting that 4th BH pistol skill of torso shot. Its the best pistol shot now.


Anyone have any advice?

Stryker, I'm trying to decide if you're being sarcastic, or really didn't know reds should equal a messy death for anyone trying to solo them.


I AM peeved if boththe master skills areuseless. I understand taking away a ranged AoE knockdown. But to not put ANYTHING in its place? So now its a multiple target Random HAM shot with no status effect at all? I'm almost to master and was looking forward to seeing what they would do when they were working correctly. ::shurg::

If I remember correctly, wasn't there a problem with the /con system? It wasn't regestering the /con's correctly. I don't quite remember how it worked so the number's might be off a bit but at master level we are level 25, which means a 25 creature is /con white to us. So if we go up against a level 26, we should loose. However, the system didn't take into account any other professions we might have, such as 4 branches of BH or Smuggler, which should raise our level from 25 to about 30 or so. Same problem with creature handlers, If they have a level 30 pet, and a level 25 pet, plus their own master level of 25, that means they should be able to solo a level 80 mob, but a level 26 will con red to them. To my knowledge this hasn't been fixed yet. So untill this is fixed, some of those red cons have no business being red to us to begin with.

Yep, con is busted, go tame like a gorg or something and group it. You'll notice mobs that were Blue/White are now Yellow/Red even though your skills have not changed and you even added more help.
