Is there a way to use warningshot and/or threatenshot in conjunction with, say, bodyshot2, to keep a mob completely off of you, yet within pistol range? They seem to run too far often.

With bleed on them, they really shouldnt be running to far

You've lost me Surfer. Healthshot2? I use it (and HS1). Gives some extra damage every 20 seconds. That helps, but it won't kill very fast. You mean they start running back at you when a bleed occurs?

Yes, they usually do.
I have a macro that does /warningshot;pause0.8;/peace. So this way if the warning shot works they run away and I don't keep attacking them. (if it doesn't work, I need to reattack or I sit there peaced and it eats me).
Annyway, I just watch the range of the thing and as it gets around 50m I start shooting at it with bodyshot or fanshot again.
Usually works, and keeps them from running too far.

I usually apply my bleed first then run to almost outa range,i usually get bleeds and 2 other shots in before they run at me (MASKSCENT works wonders) ,then warning or suppression when about 35 away
