just curious to all.
is SWg still going strong? do u guys see an increase/decrease in populations on your server?
is this game going anywheres or is it a dieing cause?
do u guys even log in everyday? once a week? a month?
im just curious to see how this game is taking fold, and if its progressing or not.
from what i see its a dieing game, going the way of shadowbane. personally ive already cancelled, and hopefully in a few months it will pick up so i can subscribe again, but i dont see it happening. but what is everyone elses thoughts on the game.
thx

Based on my guild, and some others that I have talked to members from, and what I see in "busy" places (cantinas, cities, banks, stations / outposts on the advanced planets, etc...), the game is definitely dying down. My guild has gone from having about a dozen people on every day to about 4 or 5 on. But most folks aren't cancelling, at least not yet... they've just lost interest and aren't playing much any more. That means that things could easily go either way - anything else good comes out, or they get into beta for another game, or too much time without good improvements goes by, and they'll likely cancel, but if SWG finally gets out of beta and reaches release quality and SOE adds some content, then folks would start playing more again.
This was advertised as an RPG... And it is, but it's a weak RPG with far too strong an FPS side.
