I'd like to see what we pistoleers choose to use for armor or clothing (obviously, clothing primarily for mods if you use them)? The debate of HAM cost of the armor vs. benefits of protection, and what strategies you use as a pistoleer (kiting, etc.) play into your decision, so let us know why you choose to wear what you do!

As of now, I'm not wearing any armor at all, in order to max my HAM pools for the purpose of executing more specials with higher regen over time. I find that in groups, I can easily avoid drawing aggro, so it's not a problem.

Anybody out there wear any interesting armor or clothing?

My general travelling armor is padded chest and biceps, and some bone gloves with Voritor segments that also protect vs. kinetc. This is my 'PVE armor', and I like it because the action encumberance isn't too bad, and it protects my health pool which takes the most damage. Also got a nice encumber slice on the padded chest piece.

For pvp, I can add bone leggings and boots (working on incorporating voritor there also), and a tantel helmet. The tantel helmet I asked an armorsmith to make trying to keep HAM cost low, and then it got a good encumber slice, so the mind HAM is only 64. Plus, depending on random luck, sometimes it offers protection vs everything.

But mainly I got the padded and tantel stuff for looks.
