Thread: Whats the best macro for apprentice gunfighter

Hi



Training now as an apprentice gunfighter, currently using an assortment of pistols but mainly SWG5.



Im not so keen on roll shots as I like to run around & fire so with that in mind I have opted for leg shot 2 & health shot 1.



Would you recommend a different macro variation?



I recently purchased a scout blaster..I think..but unable to use this.



What level pistoleer do ya have to be?



Finally,I am also training as a carbineer but feel I want to train in 1 field only. Im concerned that as a pistoleer I ll never be able to do as much damage as a carbineer but prefer the pistol hams.



Any advice would be appreciated.

i use body shot two the most..some times roll shot cuz its ultra cool...thats about it right now..wahoo!

if you think it will take longer then 20 seconds to defeat your opponent i think the best combo at your skill level is health shot 2, health shot 1, and then spam body shot 2. the bleeds will stack and so every twenty seconds your opponent will bleed and body shot 2 is by far the best damage per second you have. last but not least all three of these attacks are targeted attacks so they all damage your opponents health bar.


the ability to use a scoutblaster is picked up very early, i think it was at pistol 2 in the marksmen skill tree. maybe you have a republic blaster ( i have never seen one but apparently the weapon is unusable because of a bug)

I use /healthShot1, /healthShot2, then give two /bodyshot2 's and that'll clear most nasty's ham bars pretty good. If you are worried about draining your Action Pool, dring some Tatooine Sunburn. It is heavenly for your action pool... but hell on your mind pool... so be careful ( I eat Corellian Ice Cream to bump my mind pool back up... it adds more focus pts than the sunburn takes away).


I have 225k xp, and am still 0/0/0/0 on my pistoleer tiers. I don't know what skill to learn first.. any advice in that respect?

Forgot to mention... I have hot keys for my DX2, FWG5, and Scout Blaster. I also make sure I am using one that my target doesn't have armor/protection against. Just click on target and examine. Whew, these forums need an edit button!

Riddix - Save grips for last - I went up marksman first, not only is it the only decent title we get (at level IV you can be a dead eye) but I saw alot fo benefit from it. Only problem is marksman has no "toys" but the mods actually work, unlike the dodge mods in grips.


If not marks, then start on tech. The mods don't work but Fan shot (IV) is our best shot, it is real nice, specially with a low ham scout. Disarmshot1 also rocks lairs. And doubletap is a good sub for Fanshot til you get it. I had marks before tech though, I don't know if tech would have bee as good without marks.
