I'm not on your server or I would volunteer to help with my bh alt, but I'd like to request some real data to back up my observations.

Hypothesis: A Dead-eye is far more accurate than an Expert Bounty Hunter (BH Pistol 4) standing and using their optimal special and normal shots. This is based off the specials used (pistoleer/marksman vs bh specials).

Hypothesis 2: A Dead-eye is far more accurate than an Expert Bounty Hunter in every situation when on the run.

Well, the whole point of deriving a general theory on how accuracy works is so we don't have to go and test every facet of accuracy to make a reasonable prediction. I don't have all the information to make a definitive statement on this issue, but we can come close (and make some reasonable guesses). The things to note:

- Pistol Marksman 4 (Dead Eye) has +35 pistol accuracy from the pistoleer class, and +20 PAWM.

- BH pistol 4 has +50 pistol accuracy from the pistoleer class, with no PAWM.

- BHs have to take master marksman. A non-master marksman pistoleer therefore is down another +10 pistol accuracy to the BH.

- BH specials' accuracy mods are currently unknown. However, Eyeshot is probably about the same as every other pistol shot, or around +40-50 accuracy. This is mostly anecdotal, though. However, marksman pistol and pistoleer specials accuracies are in the same range, and marksman rifle and rifleman specials accuracies are also roughly the same range, so it's not too unreasonable to assume BH pistol accuracies are relatively close to pistoleer accuracies.

- This means BH specials and pistol accuracies are probably a wash. The BH however has +60 pistol accuracy over the marksman/pistol4, while the dead-eye has +35 pistol accuracy and PAWM +20. Note that even while moving, the net bonus from BH pistol 4 is greater than the Dead Eye's. My assumption from the data would be that the Dead Eye would be a fair bit less accurate than the BH while standing, and roughly the same while moving. I'm not sure why you'd expect the pistoleer to be more accurate under either circumstance (well, while moving kind of makes sense, but the bonuses while moving doesn't seem to negate the inherent BH bonuses).

I base this off personal experience. I seem much more accurate using Kipup/Bodyshot2 on my Smuggler with Dead-Eye than I do using Torso or Eye shots on my Expert Bounty Hunter with Novice Pistoleer.

I'm convinced its the specials and not the accuracy mods now that I am looking at the numbers. In this case, I see a clear advantage we have all been overlooking when considering Pistoleer specials utility.

I'm going to get Stopping Shot on my Expert BH post haste now.
