i am a human novice pistoleer ( 0 4 3 2 ) and i currently have the default ham bars. i barely ever pvp so my main priority is fighting against creatures and npc. i never use armor and since i have ( 4 4 4 0 ) in the medictree i usually have a supply of good quality stims on hands. i dont usually use spice or doctor buffs. can anyone advice me regarding how i should distribute my stats based on my profile.

Looks to me like you aren't a novice pistoleer at all, you are a Dead-Eye (or did you mean you have[ 0 4 3 2] in the marksman tree?). I wonder how you got so far into the game without playing around with stat migration. Anyway:

max Constitution, Quickness and Stamina. Put your mind stats as low as you can bear, being concious of your healing habits. Put the remaining points into Health and Action, each at a minimum of 900. Strength at minumum: the health cost of our specials is negligible, and your points are spread around enough.

Even in PvE I wouldn't bother with Quickness. I don't think Quickness and Strength are worth the points, in my experience. I'd max Health, Constitution, Action, and Stamina UNLESS the poster has significant medical skills. If the poster has significant medical skills, it is usually better to max Mind and Willpower and then use stims to heal during battle.

I have minimized all my secondary stats, except for willpower, which I maxed. (And I'm a Zabrak, so we're talking like 900 in willpower and 300 in all other secondaries, don't remember exact numbers atm.)I split the remainder equally between health/action/mind.I have reasonably high medic skills, and when I take damage, I heal myself. I don't wear armor.

I have maxxed out my physical secondary stats, and i am pretty happy with that. I do wear armor, so I am compensating for encumbrence. I set my health a bit lower than my action because that is what or guns drain us of primarily...

ive tried a few combonations & this is what currently works best for me....im a twilek so our quickness max is around 750 or so IIRC. your char/race's ideal setup may vary

i set all my primaries @ 800, max my secondary mind stats (for a twilek thats 500-500).. put all other secondaries @ the minimum required to wear a full suit of armor (speare a sew pts to account for wounds) & then dump all the remaining points into quickness (i get around 720 or so)so i get the minimal penalty for spamming my specials & then i use use my mind/stims to keep health full @ all times

this setup combined with a good set of compostie armor & the right combo of food to raise const, stam & most importantly willpower to acceptable levels while still wearing armor on & you can be one tough mofo as you can spam specials, take big hits & recover instantlywhile still dealing out some pretty decent damage

thanks everyone for your suggestions. i think i will try samra's suggestion first of decreasing quickness and strenght and using the points to max willpower and mind since i tend to use a lot of stims during combat.
