I havedecided to drop the carbineer skill for pistoleer. I have a question about special moves and HAM costs. Right now my most destructive shot is the crippling shot with a laser carbine (300-1700 dmg) but it takes 150 action and 100 health off my HAM. What is the most destructive shot for the FWG5 and what is the average damage/HAM cost for that?

I believe that would be Stopping Shot, weighing in at a whole 35 action point cost.

Keep in mind that its not necessarily the "best" but it does cause the most damage in a single shot. I think all the dmg/secs of pistoleer specials are in the faq.

I was really looking for an equivalant to the crippling shot, and all I can say is WOW, thats like 1/5 the HAM.

Stopping shot is the most single-shot damaging shot we have, but Fan Shot ranks right up there too. Using it in PvE I get between 800-1600 pts of damage per hit per target. That's with a krayt-enhanced FWG5 (45-242), no powerup. I don't know exactly the HAM cost, but I know for sure it's lower than the carbinier's.
