I've decided to go for master pistoleer, since I won't give up MCH, which means climbing the BH pistol line is impossible.

So, some of my specials, which I have in mothballs, like stopping shot, double tap, point blank single, etc., I'd like to reevaluate. I'm just interested in the single target shots. Given that the dps varies with my own personal speed, I'd like to know how to figure out which shot I should use at a given pistoleer level. The differences I'm seeing between shots that target only health, vs. higher damage shots that do random pool damage, seem slight. But if anyone has identified the subtle differences, or major differences if there are any, I'd sure like to hear about it, since even a subtle difference is going to help me climb that long stances line.

PvE is my preference.

I'm presently 3043 pistoleer, pistol speed is +48.

It appears that +74 pistol speed is the best I'll be able to achieve.

How does the speed of my fav pistols factor into my choice of special?
