Keep in mind too, that as time goes on, third-party software cheats will be written that give certain PvP'rs an advantage. Not saying that's what happened this time, but it's certainly in the future if not already present. It has been done in every other game that I've ever played, and I've heard about them in others I haven't. And not just mmorpg's either. Welcome to PvP.

pwned is a deliberate corruption of owned, which means (approximately) "decisively defeated".

if this duel occurred during the 75% pvp damage bug, note that bleed damage was unaffected while direct damage was.

Meele right after the big patch was unffected. So were bleeds.

Stoopid l33t dewds with adrenaline kick cannot necessarily type. This is not a problem, since noone cares what they say anyway...

I had this incident just after the big patch. I dueled a guy holding a vibro hammer, he only hit me twice, one with mind blast and once with mind sap (not sure if those terms are correct). Meanwhile I'm a MCH and only 3 slot away from M Pistoleer, I hit about 20 times doing about 40 points of damage per. At the same time my pet is hammering away at him. After about 30 seconds im lying on the ground unconsious from my mind bleeding while his ham barely even moved. Just curious why I did so little damage to him, and why he did so much to me? My pets should have taken him out by itself but combined with my pistol skills I dont see how I could have lost the fight.

Any thoughts or suggestions? My specials didnt seem to be working on him at all, while his were doing increadible damage to me.

BTW, I was using a FWG5 with powerups so my pistol was about 250 max damage.

Well, it was after the patch, so most pvp damage was worth jack.

The power hammer is a crazy powerful weapon, doing like 400+ max damage for a weak one.

You got two mind bleds stacked on you. Which is pretty much a death sentence.

BUFFS

Doctor buffs can jack your stats up to the point that a 300 point hit barly twitches the HAM bars and the regen rates can recover it in a few seconds. If you were only hitting for 40 points at a time even with the fasted attack speed posible, and he had doc buffs, then he was probalby regenerating most of that damage you did between hits.

Plus at that time things were so jacked up that PVP was a joke.
