Does this work? I thought that if you used a Light Armour piercer it was supposed to do 50% more damage. I don't seem to have noticed much damage difference between my DX2 and my FWG5. They both have comparable damage averages (FWG is 70-200ish, DX2 is 130 to 180ish) - slice, no pup, no krayt.
Opinions please.
Cheers

Misunderstanding here.
If AP is ABOVE AR, then dmg is enhanced by 25% per difference lvl, minus special resists.
If AR is ABOVE AP, then dmg is reduced by 50% per difference lvl, plus special resists.
To be clear, if you use a DX2 (AP1) on a AR0 - 0% acid resist and hit for 200 in your spam window, real dmg should be 250, if system is debugged. Problem is there was a bug when target get vulnerabilities but they said they fixed it. Didn't checked it (was on holidays) but appear to me there is still something not working as it should.
I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

If you go by the guide to armor, then a DX2 SHOULD do an extra 25% damage vs AR0.
But it generally doesn't. This is a problem common to MANY different weapons with higher than zero AR ratings.
