I think my character will be master pistoleer, smuggler fighting 4, tk precision striking(for +30 Defense mods), and Heavy Weapons 4

Is using the launcher pistol worth it u think? Is it better? can it be better? Rocket launcher from the commando tree woul,d be useful anyway and as im already climbing up Unarmed for smugg and TK defense tree...

I'm a master pistoleer with novice commando, and for one thing, it'san effective combination for destroying AT-ST's. Also, it gives you another damage type in PvE, as some mobs have vulnerabitlites to blast damage.

My Ultimate Pistoleer build has been proven for over a month that it can defeat ANY opponents, with the exception of TKM or 1 hit kill professions (LLC, FT, Acid Rifle, etc)

A launcher pistol with a lot of pistoleer skill would be very useful vs AT-STs and force witches.

Course, if you're truly desperate for blast damage, you could just buy some C12 grenades

Er ... I have Master Pistoleer/Master Smuggler/Teras Kasi. I can run over pretty much single opponent.

im a novice commando - all i can tell ya, and i quote the late - great ivoni - the LP is our bread and butter gun. It has very respectable damage and with a good slice, powerups, and maybe even a krayt tissue(just thought of that - have to check on that one - hehe) i think youll find it is amazing. plus you can use all pistol specials on it.

i have found with it i use it more than my pretty little blow torch , i usually bring out the flamer when i wanna bite a big chunk outta something in desperation to even the odds. the great news is it all goes towards heavy weapons exp - which helps me on my way to master commando at the same time.

so, with that said - i think youd really like it - i have had nothing but good luck with it - and im fairly jealous of ya because im really trying to get my pistoleer skills up(going for master commando/pistoleer) and am finding i have to leave my pretty little death machine holstered for right now) DANG IT!!!!!

PS - how can u beat the graphics (if that trips your trigger) want to get a commando smiling - give him a weapon that produces the biggest boom - outstanding - what can i say - we like to blow **edit** up - hehe
