A possible suggestion:
Pistoleers need a specialthat ispowerful and one that exclusively targets the Action Pool.
Maybe a new an improved Disarming Shot 2 and Disarming Shot 1?
Why the action pool?
A Master Pistoleer should be able to decentlycompete with the Master Bounty Hunter when they are both using pistols.
Interesting idea, but I don't like it.
The "Pistols target health, carbines target action, Rifles target mind, and BH's break the rules" is a fundamental tenant of the SWG class system. I don't think it's a good idea to mess with it.
Allowing pistoleers to target the health pool would really piss off carabiners ![]()
Iwould liketo add an Intimidate effect to Disarming Shot 2, and to have both Disarming 1 and 2 target Action rather than health 9with bigtime damage on the second shot). I'd also like to see the shots cause a delay before the target can attack - maybe about 3-5 seconds for Disarming Shot 1 and 5-10 seconds for Disarming Shot 2 - it would simulate the weapon being 'disarmed' and would prevent the victim from simply using a hotkey to circumvent the loss of one weapon.
So my suggestionis for Disarming Shot 1 to:
- delay all attacks for 3-5 seconds
- target a small to moderate amount of Action HAM
My suggestion is for Disarming Shot 2 to:
- delay all attacks for 5-10 seconds
- target a large amount of Action HAM
- produce an Intimidate effect on the target
If we did this, for Disarming Shot 2 we'd get a unique state effect, a largetargeted HAM attack, and a useful delay that simulates the 'disarming' that the shot has always endeavored to be. Same thing for Disarming Shot 1, but at lower power.
You guys just want to be uber.

We should not be able to attack the action or mind pools they belong to different classes already and would be encroaching on their territory. Thats what makes up diversity in the game.

I'll agree with the part in bold, especially the parenthetical. That's an important distinction, and I hope that could be codeable.
As for "being uber," hey, if we get an Action shot and you want to put a Health shot in Master Rifleman or Master Carabineer, by all means, go for it. I think Masters should get a nifty little bonus, and a specialized HAM attackwould be agreat one. Most Pistoleers would never have access to an Action shot, so we're not exactly erasing all boundaries between weapons here. It just so happens that disarming someone hits them on the hand - which is as Action-related an appendage as you could ask for. Voila, Action.
Iget what your saying and adding an extra HAM specific would make everyone equal but when you start giving everyone the same type of abilities theres not any distinction between classes, except yours is a rifle mine is a pistol. it does make sense attacking action but the problem is they should have just made pistols attack action and carbines attackhealth in the beginning.
We all shouldn't be able to targetthe HAM of our choice that won't fix it.If they implemented what i said would you not be happy to have a powerful shot that could delay attacks?I knowI would.
