Thread: A call to underdogs pistolers for nerfing BHs and eyeshot!
Dryiel your just being ignorant now for the sake of it. Either that or you are just not open to understanding how any other class works other than yours.
-The carbine being Low DPS makes it a POOR choice for the whole "fighting pistoleers outside of pistol range." That is a CRUCIAL argument as to why a BH isn't supposed to be flexible in his weapons but rather be very specialized with each one. Also with those 3 seconds a pistoleer can shoot THREE times not to mention that state resistances are availble to the pistoleer so it might take 3-4-5 shots with the carbine.
-Well, pistoleers are so depressed they don't even like to talk about dual wield cause it will bring "nerfs" (what to nerf now ? remove my ability to destroy lairs ?). When someone see a BH using a LLC, they must admit a pistoller can even have 5 pistols at the same time, they won't make half the damage your LLC is doing. LLC doesn't miss more often (even less, maybe a news for you) and its speed is not that bad. Balanced like hell...
Not exactly sure what the hell your trying to get at with dual wield? It ties in nothing with the LLC at all unless i am just blind i guess. A pistoleer should NOT be doing the damage of an LLC, if it was then whats the point of heavy weapons? Now a pistoleer with a SINGLE pistol can do over20K of damage in the time it takes the LLC to do 10K but they just can't do it in a single shot but they can do it from more than 16 meters. (stopping shot 1500X15sec = 22500 damage). The only true advantage the LLC's DPS has is its group attackability.
-I never SPECIFIED a player as being weak for a reason, ALL players are weak since the lack of increased HAM for players. My definition of weak was anything with AR1 or less and less than 1500 HAM (all players except buffed ones wearing deflector and armor).
-There are Dx2's that are indeed much better than scatters, unfortunately the requirements are so rare compared to the scatters that the scatter is the easier pistol to find. Try getting yourself a krayted up Dx2 made with good components and compare it to a scatter with good components.
-Now for the 10 times more efficient specials, not exactly sure where you are pulling your numbers but me thinks they must be from a lower region cause they are so rediculously wrong not even a trained monkey could screw math up that bad. The pistoleer bodyshot 3 needs a bit of increase in damage but stopping shot/fanshot/double tap are JUST as good as anything our pistol specials have to offer except maybe eyeshot since it does mind damage (which is really only handy in pvp which is less than 1% of most peoples play time). Even in PvP its not rare to kill someone in 2-3 stopping shots since it does hit health 60+% of the time.
-I argued that a Master Pistoleer should not be completely superior in using the pistol as a FINISHING weapon than a BH since that is what the BH spent 4 skill boxes in. The pistoleer spends 16 boxes but they are spread around in marksmanship, defenses, utility shots(kd's and states which should be there), general ranged damage, bleeding, and finishing off a targets health after they have gotten it low. Those things make someone the master of a pistol, not just being able to shoot someone really fast over and over (onlything a BH can do with his pistol).
-Arguing Master Pistoleer shouldn't be better than a BH with a pistol (BH's specialty, not sure what you meant) just because for you, the Scatter could have been something else than a Pistol is kinda funny when you know you get pistol speed that stacks with ours and most of BH I know actually use them.
The BH doesn't NEED the pistoleer skills for the role his pistol is supposed to play. The only reason anyone would spend skill points in pistoleer is so that they can be good at JUST using pistols and at that point they have become pistoleers themselves more than a BH since they are neglecting 3/4 of the BH skills to opt in favor or more pistol training. They are filling the gaps of BH pistol with more pistol instead of using the carbine and LLC to do it.
-Btw, your "finisher weapon" is way better than our best weapon. This is the point, I'm glad you admit the scatter is not only the best pistol in the game and the only one (assuming Launcher one isn't a pistol, of course) Master Pistoleers can't use, but it is also NOT your best weapon as a BH...
This just proves to me that you refused to acknowledge the whole point of the post since you are saying i claimed favorship of one weapon over the other. I never said that, infact i said each weapon is superior at its only little role, now which role you find most appealing is the big impact on what YOU think a BH's best weapon is, but a true BH knows all 3 are important to being the most effective killer possible. The "finisher weapon" is only better at finishing targets than yours as stated previously, please read above to see all the other things a pistol can do in a masters hands compared to just a BH's hands. (BTW as a last note the launcher pistol IS a pistol weapon and should not be useable by pistoleers since it requires special heavy weapon training compared to standard blasters)

This argument is absolutely ridiculous. Nothing will ever result from it. The Devs have an idea in their mins about the role and power of each class. This is reflected in the amount of skill points required to master that profession. Nothing that anyone says will change this.
Please fixthe pistoleer specials and the speed equation. Thank you.
