Sigh, like every other BH vs pistoleer flame war thread, there is so much misinformation in here, it's crazy.

First off, I've killed plenty of eyeshotting BH's too. This doesn't mean that eye shot isn't really powerful. This just means that there are an awful lot of newbie BH's who don't know how to PvP. There are a small percentage of hardcore PvP'ers, but right now, the vast majority are using weaker templates, weaker weapons, not taking advantage of armor and buffs, etc...etc. I'm a master pistoleer/doctor. If I put on a set of composite, wear a PSG, use all my doctor buffs and pop a few spices, there aren't going to be many people who areable to bring me down.

Second, PSG's can be extremely useful. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know how to use them. Granted they are bugged at the moment and they randomly gain and lose vulnerabilities, but if you carry around a handful, one of them will probably have the resists you want at any given time.

Third, I don't deny that I'd like to have a mind targetted shot, but it doesn't have a place in the pistoleer tree. What we do need is our broken specials and useless defense to be fixed...this does mean upping the damage output of our bodyshots. Ever try bodyshotting someone with 3k+ health and armor?

Fourth, for the BH's who continually use the argument that they deserve to be the most powerful solely based on the number of skill points invested, please give it a rest. My template requires all 250 skill points and none are wasted on anything that doesn't help my offensive or defensive skills. Now I don't say that I deserve to be uber since I spent all 250 points, do I?

Oh well. I'm not sure why I wasted any time on a response in this thread. Just getting frustrated with all the misinformation out there.

There is a reason I hate going to the bounty forums. To them anyone who isn't a pure bounty is considered a dabbler. I spent the points to get the gun and speicals. Don't tell me its not far. I'm as much a bounty as the others. I spent more points on one type a weapon than a master bounty has. So of course I should be better him at pistols.

bhs whina all day about dabblers but what do they do about thier 33 skill point they dabble in either medic/pistoleer medic/ch or medic/ carbineer. one simple fix that would help us all is if bhs skills didnt stack with any ohther profession. someone shouldnt be able to spam stopping shot with a scatter for 1k pvp damage(if you dont think its possible get a krayt scatter with a 30%+ slice and a 32% max damage pwoer up, you got yourself a 400+ max damage scatter that cant be touched)

pistoleer is broken. it sucks. i do NOT wan an eyeshot. here is the thing. its quite obvious..there are three marks man trees..three different guns,,three HAM pools get the idea pistoleer does not need an eyeshot anymmore than rifleman needs a healthshot. the deal with BH is that BOUNTY HUNTERS ARE KILLING MACHINES. that is what they do. they are supposed to be able to kill anything, with anything..under any circumstances. HOWEVER i do think that pistoleer needs to be fixed up..

like: why does novice carbineer recieve 2 specials..full auto causes stun and blind- i sure as hell didnt get that with nov pistoleer. full auto is comprable to pistoleer stopping shot- and then carbineer gets ANOTHER shot- crippling..i just dont understand that.

and why the hell isnt pistoleer duel wield? what self respectng gunfighter..who duels at dawn..who is quick..who is deadly has only ONE gun..none ive ever seen

and one more note about BH..i believe that pistoleer should be equal to the speed of a bh..its not fair for them to be so much faster..since they are spread out perhaps they should have slightly less speed than a master gunfighter..and slightly less of whatever a master rifle man gets ..and so on..

im sick of getting owned..just like anyone else..but oh well....i still ahve fun attitude is everything

thats great but pistoleer has neither of those special so your point is useless

bhs are not killing machines. that is commandos.

bhs complain that thier targets con red and they kill them that tells you right there that they are overpowered in pve no one is supposed to solo a red con the devs had a post on it a while back when they talked about nerfing us

i dont see why anyone is complaining about bounty hunters spamming eyeshot anyways. as a bountyhunter if im going to kill someone i shoot them once with the LLC, its a hell of a lot faster than spamming them with eyeshot. in fact if you can get a few opposing enemy factions lined up next to each other you can kill a few of them with one LLC shot. if anyone spams eyeshot its the pistoleers with the bounty hunter line in pistol. so as pistoleers you should quit crying nerf because its the only decent attack you can really do with a pistol right now untill they fix fancrap and stoppingcrap and disarm crap.
