I'd love to add Intimidate to DA1. I'd also like to see Dizzy on Stopping Shot or something that might actually have a chance of either KD or slowing someone down as the name of the special implies.

I'd also love to see DA2 not only damage the target's weapon, but also have a chance of actually disarming the target causing the target/player to unequip their weapon. It would be like causing the person to drop their weapon. Most people have their weapons hotkeyed anyway so it's a minor annoyance but can make a real difference in a fire fight.

FanShot vs. Stopping Shot: Ok, If they make Stopping Shot a targeted HAM pool (Health), then they should leave FanShot as it is now. This will be a great idea since it will please both, the PvP and the PvE player's since the PvP prefer the Random Pool and the PvE prefer the Targeted Pool. Making FanShot an AE if a very stupid move since we already have MultiTargetPistolShot.


MultiTargetPistolShot: yes Jaegen, 32 meter max range, only hits the mobs that are currenlty targeting (attacking) you. We do not need to add more mobs to our hate list. If they will get this to work, why in God's name would you want to have FanShot do the exact same thing? Mind Boggling if you ask me!


Disarm Shot: Ok, if the Dev's INSIST on us causing weapon damage, then we should be able to completely destroy a weapon in about 4 shots, give or take one to two shots due to misses. Otherwise Disarm Shot will be a complete WASTE of our time. If they would prefer to be reasonable with us, then they should make it work similar to AIM. For those of us who use it, you know that when you click on it, you use one attack round. Have it so once you use Disarm Shot on an oponent, it will give them a 2 attack round hit, plus their combat cue get's cleared so they know they where hit with Disarm Shot, giving the 'Illusion' of being disarmed but without physically removing the weapon. Have a 15 second imunity timer on it so we can't spam it.


Defenses: NO, NOT UNDERSTOOD. With the last patch which they Supposidly activated out defenses, they also INCREASED the defenses of Mobs. So, why did it work on their NPC's and Creatures (a Bolle bol dodging a blaster shot? A bolle bol counterattacking a blaster shot?) but it didn't work on us? Nerf the NPC's (Heall yea, Nerf SOE!) till they fix us. This is a help to not only Pistoleer's but to all other professions!


Pistoleer Speed Issues: This doesn't solve a thing. Unless they want to make Pistoleer's, and only Pistoleer's who have more then 8 boxes invested to keep out dabbler's, the ability to 'remove' the one second cap. Yes, this will cause us to shoot like a machine gun, but if we're suppose to be VERY VERY FAST, then why are all the other class's just as fast as us? Let us be the only ones to break this cap, then we'll be able to be VERY VERY FAST like they want us to be. Otherwise the only other way of fixing it, is by nerfing other profession's to cap at a higher speed, which is something that I'd hate to do to them, but seems to be the only real quick fix for them. Giving us our speed earlier will be of no benefit when Rifle/Carbine will still be able to have the same speed as us AND do 2 to 4 times more damage then us.


Seperate note: Have them give a boost to the DX2. The DX2 should have MORE damage then the launcher/scatter pistol. We are Master's of the pistol's, we should have the best pistol's in the game, not a class that doesn't live by that weapon as we do.

Fanshot as a cone sounds great, but need a bit more info on range, targets and such.


Multishot targeting all enemies sounds like a great tactical skill, since if used at the wrong time there will be a world of aggro on you, but being able to do "sweep attacks" sounds great!


Disarming Shot: Intimidate.


Speed: If there was a way to create a slower pistol that did more damage (since I am not a crafter, not sure if this is possible or not), then speed would become more important.



But my biggest concern right now is Body Shot 3. I have 500k+ pistol xp saved up, but I am not about to take another skill box (am at 3/3/0/2) until they sort this thing out. After attaining BS3 (what great intials for that skill, BS), and seeing how bad it was compared to BS2, I have placed all other skillincreases on hold. Stagnation due to bugs, not a fun time.

I'm in favor of adding Intimidateto Stopping Shot, and also a built-in Suppression Shot effect to change posture in the target and actually stop them from advancing. If that's added, I think the shot should get a timer different than the standard Knockdown/Posture Change clock - maybe make this useable every 15 seconds instead of every 30.


Keep pushing for speed adjustments, too.


Other than that, things look groovy.

I agree with adding a Dizzy effect to Stopping shot. Would make it act as its described. I like the idea of having a few cool state effects. Master pistoleer reads that we have shots that can be used in alot of situations. Having various state effects (targeted not AOE thats for Carbineers) would give us some flavor and reason to pick different attacks for different reasons.

Intimidate is the way to go on disarm shot... damage and intimidate.


Or add intimidate to stopping shot.


Adding a cone effect to fan shot? not sure if this is a good idea.


Body shot 3 needs help. The pistoleer pool to damage is the health pool.


Please make the devs understand why healthshot 2 is out of balance. I think we should get a health shot 3 in the box above body shot 2.

Fanshot being a cone makes sense. I don't have an issue with that.

MTPS - Can we get this to target a pool? I vote for the 32M/10 target thing, but with the caveat that it targets aggros attacking the pistoleer *or* his group. Makes it more useful since it shoots at any enemies, not just those gunning for pistoleer.

Disarming Shot - Let's change DS1 to 'Lair Shot' and change DS2 to something else =). Intimidate sounds good. How about a blind shot?

Stopping Shot - Can we get this to target the Health pool too? Or at least target a pool? I can see it hitting either Action or Health, but I'd like to see this as a targeted attack.

Be thankful for any amount of improvement we can get right now. Some of these changes sound pretty good.


I'd rather MultiTarget do the all enemies within 32 meters thing, since I'm often grouped and what I am shooting at is rarely actually attacking me.


Although fanshot is one of my more used moves, still don't use it as much as bodyshot2, so the change sounds nice, have to see it action of course.


So long as the moving down of speed includes an overall increase in speed its a good idea. When I see Stoppingshot firing once a second (like high-end rifle specials) I'll be happy. If there is not an overall increase of speed to the proffesion this only further helps the Smuggler/Pistoleers, BH/Pistoleers, and Commando/Pistoleers.


Intimidation sounds good for disarm, especially with as nerfed as panic shot is.


This is a minor victory it would seem. Although the biggest issue Bodyshot3 is still not adressed by this.

we need a fast attack on heatlh HAM to complete be it Fan shot or Double tab. Body Shot 3 truely is to slow firing for me.
