Thread: DX2 failed to kill Doctor.....
Eyeshot is the silver bullet to this combo, and Commandos do so much damamge they dont care. *shrug*
(I am Doc/Pistoleer).
I don't use neutron pixie. I use muon. Please read my post again. Muon buffs mind. I let doctor buffs prop my red and green stats. With a master doctor and muon gold my base stats of 800/800/900 becomes 1800/1800/1400. When the spice wears off I'm at 1800/1800/400. And since flame specials don't hit mind I don't have much to worry about.
The flame single that hit me today did 800-900 wounds or so. Under normal circumstances this would black bar me. However, with a doctor around she healed me in two shots. And I got to sit there laughing at the commando who had a TEF on me who walked up and flamed me. He got incapped. I sat there while he laid incapped with the bleed letting him watch the burn complete and then deathblowed him. I still had around 900 health afterwards.
Buffing red/green stats with spice is dumb because too many things hit those pools. We keep timers. We usually disengage from combat 2 minutes before downers hit. Getting downers in combat is a newbie mistake.
Stims use mind and that can't be refilled, ( unless your a Zab master doc) it's as tho you are hitting the mind pool indirectly by making them expend mind to stay ahead of your health hits.
Unfortunately bleeds are very little use as a DOT against docs as they can stop the bleeding with First Aid, but FA uses mind also so by making them heal you are pushing them closer to death.
9 times out of 10 I'm "brained out" when I lose in PvP, the other times it's a 1 or 2 shot kill from an AT-ST or LLC.
To sum up, a buffed doc's only weak spot is the brain bar, if you can't hit it directly encourage them to use it up for you, then it's just a matter of getting that 1 lucky random ham hit to the head.
