Ekhvram , Oh I do know how good, overall Pistoleer's have it, I'm a pistoleer, but I'm also a Ranger...and we Rangers are in good need of stuff. While Ranger's aren't too "broken" outside of one or two areas, we also are a pretty empty profession. So yes, I know one extreme and the other, and Pistoleer is lucky enough to be in pretty good shape, but just because its pretty stable, doesn't mean we shouldn't provide feedback in other areas...it just likely means that our superficial stuff will be slower in coming while the higher priority fixes are implemented in other professions.

mY first question is: can you give the Dev's the issues with some actual stats? that way they can't BS around HARD numbers. For example the DX2 pistol is around 70-108 dmg @ 3.0 speed . the DMg of a scout blaster is 60-122 @ 1.7 . you can easily show them why the DX2 is bugged. because its a higher level weapon yet does less DPS.



And isnt that the most important issue for pistoleers right now? to get a better weapon, mainly improving the DX2 .

I hope they leave in the 2x damage to lairs and structures from Disarming Shot. It's pretty handy on the battlefield at taking down turrets and walls, and obviously useful in doing missions for cash.

Since the big patch says it fixes multitarget pistol shot, what does it do now? Cone attack? Shoot everyone in an x meter circle around you? I haven't gotten that far yet, but I'm curious.

So we only have skill modes that are broken. Pistoleers have the best resists, actually it just has resists as you have said. And they are not working.

So instead of asking the developers what is happening with our knowdown and dizzy resists and if dogde is working (this one is asked but hidden with the special moves so it's lost) the developers answer very willingly some cosmetic and easy changes about changing graphics. No, they are just nerfing entire lines of knockdowns in all the combat classes without fixing those resistances i'm sure they are glad of not having to answer that question.

Sorry if it sounds like a rant, maybe it is and i'm a bit harsh sorry. But i would prefer the pvp fixed, working as it should be. That graphic glitches like holsters or dual pistols which by the way those questions had been addressed before. Everybody know since beta that dual pistols can be made, it's a long work because most of the graphics have to be remade but it can be done in a future. And dual pistols as a new skill when other classes like commando without any skill working it's not going to be taken in consideration by the devs.
Yes, there are 2 different teams, one for creating and one for debugging but it's not likely they are going to add more imbalancing without knowing how is already the system.

With duel weild, there isnt an accuracy problem, But there should be a major defence hit, I've used two real pistols,on a combat course, and didnt suffer Any accuracy degredation, nor did the bullet coming from the offhand pistol lack the same stopping power of the other .40cal But while I was concentraiting on using two weapon, I did notice I lost some of my perifreal vision acuity, and also didnt pay as much attention to sound. So, I dont see an accuracy or a damage penalty as "real" but a heavy defence loss would make up for the extra hitting power.



And, Yay, MORE guns, guns guns lol gimie guns....

the devs have already stated that the defense mods for ALL classes are being looked at, making sure they're working properly (look towards what they're putting in in this patch). although they hadn't said that a month ago...=D


you guys really seem to havea solid class, which is mostly working as intended.if you want to see a class that the devs seem to care NOTHING about, head over to the commando post at:

when chef/bio-engineer/droid engineer get their responses, i expect quite similar. why? why should the devs start listening to them now, when they haven't yet?

First off I play on Flurry Ive earned 8 boxes in pistoleer with lots of very very hard work. I have read and watched this forum but have not posted in hopes that the people here would be heard . At least the intelligent ones.


In response to this so called fix or patch


number 1 .........Helpful


number 2..........should be last on the list of things to fix


number 3..........SHOULD be fixed.......I have many comments on this below


number4...........should be fixed when everything else is fixed


number5...........should not be considered until number 4 is fixed


number6...........totally stupid i would rather have a snickers


Now to number 3


Mt bf is a BH has novice BH and 1 box in carbine we got together and dueled to see how i could do against him , (((remember))) i have tons more combat xp and pistol combat xp than 4 of his characters I have worked 4 times as hard as he has.If you dont understand that please go watch tv or eat some pop corn i dont have the patience to train you in common sense.


Duel one.. i hit him for 600 pts of damage poof he knocks me down then incaps me .He wins


Duel two... same result damage differnt his always at least double my own


Duel 3 ......he smackes me for 1600 points of damage ya he won again


Duel 4 .......same result


Duel 5....... this is getting very old...........


Duel 6,7,8,9, same results i lose every match


Duel 10 he stands there laffing at me disarms himself and begs me to shoot him Ya I win duel 10


Now all that said ....the knock down the BH gets with1 pitiful box in carbine is totally unreasonabe in pvp unless we get a defense in our first box to counter it and i am not even mentioning the difference in damage here 1200 avg against my 500...It does seem a simple minded person could see a problem here ?


Geeeeeeee isnt that simple! Hello this is a simple fix to a Dreadful problem.


Lets say you cant do this it isnt within your power to fix......remove the knockdown period.


If you cant do that then give us a knockdown in the same first box any box


If you cant do the then give us a option the would let us become untargetable by a BH in pvp and vise versa because right now pvp against a BH is stupid......I hope that is clear.


Here is a message to all the BHs who come here in our forum saying how much there profession costs them....Squat i say nothing but very easy to get points killing kreetles at the city limits compared to how much work we have to do to earn out skills. you BH guys dont have to work 1/5th as hard as we do to earn your skills and in pvp your characters are able to dominate anything you see pvp. If you cant look at our chart and see the numbers vs your chart your totally dumb.

To jaegen .....If you led the people who have the power to fix these things in the direction of number 2/4/5/6 you have done a terrible job when pvp in our class is so messed up.To me that should be you first priorty and until it is corrected nothing else should even be mentioned until these distressing problems are corrected.


Other classes have problems and i empthize with them but on flurry the BH is the total king of pvp and they get all there skills with VERY little work or effort for pvp verses everyone else.Thats just a fact


IMO all classes should be equal but differnt with any class having a chance to win in pvp (combat) classes


I have no idea what happens at the test center ...Do they actuallt test things like this ? Does anyone report it ? Does anyone listen ?


All that said If you cant fix the problems then at least make the effort so players can decide who they want to pvp against...Give each player the ability to not fight classes he/she has no chance against whatever the player decides...To me that seems simple


And i apologize for being so sarcastic beinf knockdowned so much must have addled my wits !
