My point isn't that riflemen are uber now, but that they would be if they had a longer range than every other weapon in the game because they could just run backwards and kite everyone else, just like we do to melee right now.

Boy, getting into this one...according to Holo the topfour classes are Ch, Pistoleer, BH and Rifleman. Must be a hell of a lot of CH, PIstoleer and BH if there aren't very many rifleman, as you say.

I agree too that the primary reason, unfortunately for everyone including SOE is:

- a very large number of "broken" profession issues are present

- the communication of these issues has been very slow at best, with until recently, very, very little reponse/understanding of the issues

- the fixing of these issues has been minimal thus far, taking back seat to critical server/exploits, etc.

IMO they could drop 2 weeks off the city/mount release plan, and slap it on professions, and get us happy for a while.

Because of the above, in forum-game world, we're at wits end. How come certain special attacks just, don't, work?

If everything was going well, we wouldn't be so quick to cringe at every little negative change. But when we are all starting from a laundry list of negative things, it's not as fun to see more negativity. And we are some of the higher priority professions..just think of poor chefs :/

Agreed. I hate coming onto the SWG "Flame" forums. All anyone does is act like there in 8th grade and flame on everyone about anything *cough* vGeist *cough*. It's nice to see a couple cats own up and be mature. Different views are cool. Helps make forums roll. Don't flame on anyone because of there's.It makes you look stupid.

Stealth

The thing Rifleman want to change is the situational nature of their class, by this I mean that if you arent optimal distance from target and prone then Rifleman isnt in optimal conditions. Pistoleer on the otherhand is optimal in any situation, this is how the devs intended it to be so stop whining about it.

At the moment Rifleman are the most uber Master class, status shots, insta kill specials (in PvP), 1 special per second cone(now that its being changed your a bunch of whiners) and heavy armor piercing.

What do Pistoleers have? 1 per secondrandom Ham 1500 shots yey!

Please nerf us more.
