the point is that PW isn't working correctly now...it did before the big patch, but now it's buggered and destroys PvP =)

I'm sure this is a bug aswell.. I'm a carbineer.. same deal with ours.. I'm sure it's a bug cuz the delay carries over.. even after respawning..

I hate to say it, but I don't find this to really be a bug. Perhaps an extra cost for pistol whip might be appropriate, but seriously hitting someone in the head with a pistol one time probably wouldn't disorient them as much as hitting them twice in the head, would it. I mean, think about this in real life. If I take a stick and hit you in the head, you might be disoriented for a while. If I hit you twice in the head, you should be a little more disoriented than if I had only hit you once. Doesn't that make sense? When I say disoriented I mean that you might stand up, but you couldn't perform any significant activity until you got over the dizziness or grogginess from being hit in the head, right? That should increase with additional hits to the head. I don't know about revive stacking, but I see nothing wrong with Pistol Whip stacking.

Well, I'm glad to hear that pistol whip is even more powerful than a TKM knockdown!


Proves once again that the Pistoleer is the Master of Melee.


TKA KD does not stack like this. If you reapply KD on a KD'ed mob, it resets the timer to 10 seconds.


I guess this is why Pistoleers can melee higher level mobs than the (supposedly) Kings of Melee can.

Well, as far as higher level mobs are concerned, I've never seen this happen. I fight with a group and I end up being crowd control. Mainly for KD. And they usually stand there 10 seconds or so, then come bum-rush me and beat the tar out of me. If I reapply it, it lasts another 10-15 seconds, tops, then they beat me sensless. ... or I run like heck.


I dunno. Maybe it's my lag or something. But, I've not seen it do that, yet. Though, it might stack with other specials. I'm not sure. I'll try it and see.

Inhomark, you said balance is better than unbalance.


I don't know about that, the last time Vader tried to "balance" the force, it didn't go so well.


anyhow, just a light hearted post, mostly a lot of negativity in these boards.




I apologise for the name, I made it way back in week 2, when the CH's were insanely powerful, and as such the less savory people in the community all flocked to novice CH ('cus back then at novice you could control any pet, and they all got Rancors). Now the CH's fit very well into the overall system and as such the jerks and griefer's have moved on to bigger, better things. (Usually bounty hunting.)
