Thread: Live Patch Update 9/4 results post them here
Oh, and since the thread is about patches, Can someone answer why:
1.) flamethrower's are max damage 800? I just read a post of someone with 1050 max damage on flame thrower.
2.) Just read another post with BH laughing that they are doing 6k+ damage with their new llc
3.) some hammer, don't remember the name, now has 600+ damage
most of this stuff have AR ratings. Why wasn't the DX2 fixed? My DX2 is till top of the list for my server, that means my top damage on it is 132. What kind of sick **edit**ing joke is this? Also, they fixed the range for everyone else's special weapons, but our range is STILL FUBAR. What do I think of this patch, I think this patch was a nerf disguised WITH, get a load of this, a tease to get our mind off of, "**edit**, we got nerfed", and into, oh wait, look at this, left handed weapons? When we all know they will not introduce duel wield for us to have left handed weapons. Just candy to get our mind off of our fresh wounds. **edit** sony and their BS. They can't seem to do anything right!

well, i guess the good news is we can expect to get stronger in the next patch hehe.
maybe next time we can get stronger and everyone can get nerfed? Making everyone else stronger is almost like nerfing us.. couldnt they leave it at that?

Regarding dodge. My little quick-test with 65 shots fired at me, and 3 dodges, was done by a pistol2 doctor (You know, +30 accuracy, was standing, and it's the MARKSMAN pistol2 line).
now, granted, maybe if we both run, and I was at longer range it might work better. But heck, a pistol2 user vs a master gunfighter and <5% dodged? Ugh. He missed about 14 times, which probably means his overall accuracy wasn't all that hot. It certainly needs more testing though, but as it stands, it's not effective.
Yes, both standing, and near the pistol's "ideal" range. I wouldn't expect the hit rate to be much lower, else, he could not solo white cons (the pistol2 fella).
Tying accuracy to dodge is what I also suspected...and it IMO, doesn't make sense. Dodge is more easily balanced independant of accuracy (since accuracy is already so convoluted with stacking professions, ideal range, weapon modifiers, power up modifiers, position, movement walk, movement run, etc.,etc.
Heh. Umm..folks, I'm going to post a more detailed report on the development page, but I wouldn't jump over to smuggler just yet. I am both a smuggler and pistoleer. My current abilities in those trees are listed in my sig. These status effects do not stack in any way shape or form. So, all told I have at least 4 state changing moves. Pistol melee defense 1, Panic shot, Low Blow, and suppression fire. They're ALL on the same 30 second timer. In other words, if I pistolwhip something, I cannot do any of the above moves for a status change for 30 seconds more.
Luckily Warning shot is still working sufficiently. Use and abuse this information as you please. But if these changes stay live, I can't see myself keeping all of those boxes. Why have suppression fire if you have any other state changing move? (for example)

its not about the knockdown , its about 1 hit shots being back in PvP.
