So does anybody have any thoughts on how the "Ideal Range" modifiers should factor into your pistol decisions?

I have a fwg5 sliced that is 77-324 and then i slap a power up on it and get 430 max dmg and wiht fan shot i can do any were fron 2400 to 3099. And in pvp I can do a hit of 700 that will take a person down quick if you hit the same pool twice.
