I dont think you get it, they are taking the powerhandler out of the FWG so there wont be anymore krayt FWGs, and with out the normal powerhandler your looking at 150 max damage or so. The FWG will be worthless.

You aware riflemen can fire specials once per second with the T21 ?

plus, on my server, we dont have T21s
First, hardly any rifleman will ever use a T-21, the damage is crap eve though it is consistent it is too low (ie scout blaster for you) maybe for the bleeds but thats it. What we do use is a laser rifle...a lvl 2 marksman weapon is our best gun with a large range so we can do hardly any damage or a **edit**load (like your FWG-5's). The only thing is that our weapons "massive" damage comes with a slow speed and horribly damaging costs. True we do get 2 second or faster firing rates...at master. Until then we are incredibly slow and can be killed by relatively any pistoleer with a good gun. On top of this we only have roughly 6 shots before our own mind pool is depleted forcing us to use normal shots to try and take you down. I won't even mention the fact that we can't wear armor because encumberance is almost solely dedicated to mind, increasing our downtime immeasurably. We aren't as godly as you all assume.
Oh and just to add on, no sane rifleman wanted you to get nerfed...we wanted our T-21 brought back to usefulness. However the idea of a non commando/BH doing immense damage doesnt seem to be acceptable to developers so we stay screwed over and you guys come a little bit closer to our level.

haha. Well, now pistoleers will use a marksman 2 gun as well, instead of the marksman 4 gun they had been using. That's the real problem here. The profession guns aren't very good so you have to use the marksman guns. Since most non-pistoleers use pistols they are the ones who truly got screwed here. They are the ones who should be complaining the loudest.
Now, on to the lets deal with it stage, does the power 5 use a power handler?

Ding Ding Ding, have a cigar. Thats the problem that was brought up and every rifleman wants fixed and what do the devs do? Nerf your gun and make you all mad at us. Yay progress.
On an unrelated note, I like pudding.
I my self am a pistoleer and I dont really think blaming riflemen is the right thing to do.
If ANYTHING, you could be a bit mad at the devs, but blaming the riflemen is just plain WRONG!
I only found the true power of the fwg5 a few days ago so this is a real bummer for me but if its really that bad than just save your money and get a bunch of fwg5's which I will do.
Fear will keep them in line, fear of this nerf station.
Am a master rifleman myself. I think you're pointing the finger in the wrong direction bud. The general concensus with riflemen is that we hope to see our class improved but not at the expense of others.
In fact, i think dispite all our setbacks, we have learned to live with and work around our problems. All riflemen know that engauging in PvP before reaching Master is not the best thing to do and that even at master, we still have to juggle diff weapons and abilities to maximise on our HAM costs and what those abilities do. Dispite our so called "power", when it comes to dealing with a BH wielding a LLC or a Commando with a rocket launcher, its over for us unless they do not understand their class well. Please note that this is not whining. Personally i can understand why BH is powerful. They are meant to be feared.On a logical note, i even support the damage and range that rockets have. To all commandos, i amtruelyglad that you have a place to call you're own.
However on a logical standpoint, our max range is 65m but for us we take a 2.5 damage modifier when we get hit by melee when we have our rifles equiped. the only other class that shares this with us is the commandos but the damage on their weapons justify that. what is 65m really? one burst run will get any melee opponent or close ranged attacker on us before we can come to a stand from prone position not to mention creature warping which is the bomb for us because our 2.5 damage mod on us extends to PvE as well.
You can be sure that if our range was extended to 100-200m and if conceal shot was fixed, you wouldnt hear a peep from us. We talk about it, but thats about it. We understand that there are so many other classes which are highly gimped, more so than ours. for example Squad leader, Chef, Droid Engineer, etc. Not to mention the still very obvious bugs like creature warping, prone warping, guild chat not working etc. And these things should take a higher priorty inthe to-do listthan our own needs.
All this is horse poop anyway. Which class in the history of MMORPG's had its template set in stone? you can be sure that there will be more changes to come. for better or worse and i'm betting that things will get alot worse before it gets better. not just for you or me, but for everyone at some point in this game.

you do of course realize, that the majority of rifleman still use laser rifles over T-21's correct? using just headshot3, which takes me 180 mind, i can only fire 5 times before i am out of mind. do you have anything NEAR the HAM costs of that?
how do you justify sliced krayt fwg5's that do 400 max damage every second? heck, i only have pistol IV, and my pistol has 325 max. this is even more basic damage than T-21's now. did anyone for get to mention that at novice, you got a weapon that has 400base damage every second, whereas rifleman have a 350 max damage ap3 weapon that fires every 7-10 seconds?
