Thank you Jae...as i was saying yesterday in game...11/12 pistoleer skills i dont use, i currently only use health shot 2 as a pistoleer skill and i get it at **edit**ing novice...all the others are **edit**ing useless, where i can fall back on my **edit** in marksman or the crap i get in smuggler, we got no ranged KD...now useless in combat, the defenses have NEVER **edit**ing worked and i cant tell any diff in dodging from when i was a novice marksman...point being that i spend over 3 million pistol exp...a **edit** load of combat exp for what? I'll tell you what, we get **edit**ed in our asses and get 3 new titles for it...

It has a perverse sense to it Jaegan, I just don't understand the why of it. There are too many pistoleers in their game. They want people to do Commando and BH (weren't there enough of those?) so they make their classes very attractive and ours gets a big beat down from the ugly stick. I don't know why they need to migrate people to those classes, but there you have it.

lets start a rant session on the devs board. Jaegan you are our leader tell us what time and what day and we will flood their board into fixing out class. we have reached the point of no return there is no better time than now. it cant get much worse can it?

Well...accuracy seems to be important now, too. The movement penalties seem much larger, so the accuracy bonuses that pistol gets might be more valuable now, relative to other weapons.

I'm a master marksman/rifle/SL, so I don't have first-hand experience with all the pistol specials, but I have kept up with this board. Kip-up seems to do nice damage, as indicated, but it also effectively slows your movement down. This is pretty important when it comes to PvP. It'd also be interesting to see if there are accuacy mods attached to special moves.

My understanding was Fan Shot was the best DPS attack in the pistoleer tree (thus leaving kip-up out of it) until cap speed, when Stopping Shot became better.

Yeah, I'm totally disheartened...


Playing since this patch I seem to suck a lot more.... They stealthed a lot of things to keep people from bitching about Pistoleers is my impression I just don't have facts yet to back it up.


One thing is I definitely MISS a lot more... but I have 'evaded'... whooo hooo


Another thing is mobs that never used to hit me with state effects now do. Has anyone else noticed that?


Wow, they 'fixed' our defenses against state effects but made mobs do it a lot more & effectively at that...


Uggghhhh


I WANT to be a pistoleer, I'm not a flavor of the moth kind of person so I guess I'll deal with it....
