Goofball. Do you look at that accuracy modifiers on your weapons? Sure, use a T21 at short range. What's the spraystick range..omg, it's better at short range! Imagine using the right weaopn for the right range! What about point blank shots..dont they reduce your range modifer? OMG, what did you just do, did you just switch to pistol or 2H sword when you got into close range and keep kicking butt? OMG, genius! Pure genius! How about instead being a cry baby, you read the above three times and say "I will try to play SWG more effectively". And when you insult people for stupidity, spell the words (genius..it's genius)correctly, otherwise it's sick irony.
True: Rifles have the potential for better accuracy at long range, as long as they know and use their ideal range to their advantage.
True: Pistols get a bonus to accuracy on their special attacks. Have you ever wondered why pistols are limited to crappy AR1 weapons, the rest AR0, with specials that have no state effects, no ranged crowd control, and their best shot hit's health for 2.5? Yeah, because we hit more? Trade offs are hard to deal with aren't they.
True: A mind shot at range from an AR3 weapon hurts a helluva lot more than a random HAM attack from an AR0 weapon. See how "superior at range" as more of a meaning than just accuracy?
True: Shooting a rifle "from the hip" is retarted if you expect accuracy. You would either use the Aim command, or go prone, and again, yes, you'd have even BETTER accuracy. Pistols are light, they are easier to fire from the hip. I know, I know, it's obvious.
