The DX-2 WOULD be more accurately reflected by making it a commando-like charge using weapon. Seeing as the thing burned through power packs like President Bush incurs national debt. It would certainly make it the point blank disintegrator that it seems the weapon was meant to be. And yeah. What IS with that sound effect? This is supposed to be a massive energy discharge. Of course with the 'acid' damage, they may have tried to go for a lethal water gun sounding effect.
Actually I heard that the reclusive Shirow was a woman. Which I could alomost believe seeing as she seems to write femme protagonists so believeably, as well as stories that focus not so much on story driven elements, as how the characters interrelate with those elements and how they're changed by them. Anyone else heard this one?
