If you hit a suppression, can you then run up and pistol whip, or do they share the same 30 second immunity?

I'm thinking

/bleed

/posture change

/couple shots while I run up to the target

/whip

/couple shots while I run away from the target

/warning

/couple more shots and finish or repeat as necessary

without cover fire, we ARE forced to group. Casual gamer = out the door.

No no. Without cover fire, YOU are forced to group. I'm still out soloing like I used to except my tactics changed a bit and it's takinga little longer to kill things.

I macroed my warning shot to have peace immediatly after it. Works perfect.

Lately, I have been doing this a lot (however, I have not played since new patch went into effect today):

1. Prone, healthshot2, healthshot1, bodyshot2 until it charges, then warningshot, peace. While it runs away and bleeds for awhile, do the same thing with another creature.

2. By the time the second one is running away bleeding, the first one should be running back at you, finish him off with bodyshot2, then finish off the second one.

I used this technique the other day to kill about 30 Dune Banthas and only got hit once or twice when warningshot didn't work initially. You have to be very quick on peace after warningshot because if you shoot a creature after warning, it comes after you, vice running away. I realize that Dune Banthas aren't very high level mobs but they give good xp for the risk and are pretty slow-moving, especially after they start bleeding. Also, if you have a creature bleeding and close to death, save wear and tear on your pistol and uses on your power-up by suppressing him, then peace. He will stand there and finish bleeding out and you won't have to shoot him anymore. I hope these tips help and if not, then I apologize and I'm sure you will find the info you need from some higher-level Pistoleers here.
