Feel I must apologize for mis-listing the republic blaster as a master cert for Pistoleers. (that'll teach me to post stuff like that after being up 20 hours) Does it make the weapon any less insulting? Nope.
And here you go. The weapon Fett toted about was originally created from a revolver and an exhaust pipe. And there were a couple of different looking props that got used from Empire to Jedi.
However, the one that we see in the game that's most recognizable as Fett's rifle is the N'Gant-Zarvel 9118 Heavy Carbine (SWRPG Arms & Equipment Guide Page 18)
"A short barrelled blaster carbine with a heavy stock, the 9118 is an extremely durable weapon suitable for use both in the wild and in urban settings. Produced by a small Rodian operation with distribution through a number of Hutt Families, the N'Gant Zarvel has proved popular with mercenary units and insurrectionists alike. Of particular note is the deep thumping noise this model produces when fired."
However no mention is made of Fett's use of the weapon like with the entry about the DL-44 and Han using it. But then... that's always been the one area that lucas' well meaning but slightly squirrelly continuity department has always been a little fuzzy on. Weapons. There was a site out there that tried to make sense of all the different ways lightsabers are purported to work or get constructed. You think what they've done to guns is confusing. Try untangling THAT mess.
