Almost every time I logon I see a post about someone 'Cancelling' their account........ please read on.

I find it funny that in every single one of these posts, they start off talking about 'Grinding' to the top. Hmm, wonder why they are so bored?

I have been playing since the second week the game was on the shelves, and the only thing I can honestly say I did any grinding on was the 33k XP to hit Novice Architect. Since then, that profession is gone.

The game wasn't designed to Power Level to Master, then kill stuff.

I'm not supprised your quitting, I would too.

Oh wait, one thing you could do! See how long it takes to get 1 Billion Credits by doing Delivery Missions! Now that would be fun!

All of the people that are in the 'Grind' phase will also find themselves bored........

Hey, you have 1 line that's working. That's more than we got.

Wepps, actually, according to all BH I know, you're not quite accurate on this one, let me rephrase it : the most devastating line you get is the LLC one, not Scatter anymore.

But you Scatter line is still way more effective than our whole profession. While I still think your pistol skills are working as intended and SHOULD NOT be changed, you have to admit even with the worst good sense since creation that Pistoleer need some serious fix.

Oh, and we should at least get some good cert with tier 3 or 4 to compensate the DX2 Joke (being able to have a very good weapon with only "novice pistoleer" would be too much).

I tested pistoleer in beta, and there was nothing at all wrong with it.

Then the nerf bat started swinging, as DEV started taking for granted (without seeing for themselves or testing it) that every pimple popping adolescent mustache dreamer with a whine must be right because the word 'exploit' is somewhere in their 'IM QUITTING' post.

What you are seeing is a direct result of this fact, and what the Bounty Hunters have been getting since release.

We now have no carbines tree. And contrary to the reports of guys with 17 posts and just got their Novice tags, the Bounty Hunter pistols specials include...eye shot. That's it. Torso shot is not working correctly, as it too was stealth nerfed. The Investigation tree, again contrary to n00breporters, is still broken. DEV claimed they fixed it, but the bug in particular is worse now than ever before.

LLC is the only useful equippable weapon at this time, and is bound to get nerfed even though DEV posts say it won't. (what do YOU think the odds of this are?)

Pistoleer is not supposed to deliver the powerful hits, but is loaded with nice 'grief' shots, like stackable bleeds and fire effects. Every time I've faced a pistoleer in combat, even though these special attacks will not win the fight for them, they are the first things to hit my avatar. Then they proceed to whine to me about mebeing overpowered when I kick their butts for griefing me instead of actually trying to win the fight in the first place.

Pistoleers need fixing. But YOUR purpose is to fight in the GCW. The Bounty Hunter's is not. We are supposed to be outside of it entirely, concerned only with profit for completing our Investigations. But since these (along with just about everything else in the game) are broken, there is nothing else left to do.

I guarantee you that if DEV took the time to fix our Investigation line, YOUR problems with 'overpowered' Bounty Hunters would go away, since we are so much more interested in playing the character than owning your griefing asses in combat.

What ... fire effects? We don't have any fire effects. We have bleeds. We have grief shot. We have no fire. Why aren't we supposed to deliver powerful hits? We have some very powerful hits. They're random pool, but feh.

No, I think bounty hunters are all cry babies who look at something like investigation being hard and then pussies out completely. Waaaah! Investigation is HAAAARD! I want to be uber but I don't actually want to work for it! Waaaah!

What does it for me is bounty hunters thinking that their having to take down "tough" mobs is impressive when I take on mobs that would eat their marks for breakfast without a second thought solo. Ooooh. It's a 10k HAM mob. It'll incap in 1 shot! It's so haaaard. I kill krayts solo bud. The take a swing and do more damage then I have HAM. Don't talk to me about investigation being hard until you go solo a krayt.

Your argument is that you need all your weapon skills and bonuses so you can take down your marks. The fact is when presented with the bonuses you need, most of you still fail badly. They made the marks easier and you guys are still failing.

Look at the skills you have and use the tools at your disposal. Using tactics that win in PvP such as spamming eye shot or knock downs don't work.

Pardon my French but I'm REALLY sick of all the chumps "BOO-HOO'ing" about the PvP aspect. Every time there is a slight shift some OUTRAGED player posts a 20 page article about how unfair things are and how much one "Insert your least favorite skill shot" needs to be NERFed. If you bought this game to PvP and measure di*k's then you just need to goout and pick up a copy of the new Soul Calibur game and leave the rest of us alone. This game has SO much more to offer than PvP(the interactions with real players alone are worth the price of admission) and so much potential. We need to start a PvP concentration camp and herd up all the IDIOTS who do nothing but complain about it.(let them go there and just kill each other over and over til the dawn of time. We'll put in a Med Center and a cloning center and that's IT) This is not a game of PvP so quit f**king crying about it. I sat last night and watched the Rebel vs Imp slugfest in the streets of Theed. The(insert faction name here) would gang up on a player, kill them, then camp outside the cloning center and wait to rinse and repeat.Huzzah what fun!!! Go pick up an old Sega Genesis and just play Mortal Combat. You'll save yourself a lot of money and save us the headache of listening to your bitching!

Yep. The PvP whiners are ruining it for those of us who would prefer a little content and depth of character, rather than the samo lamo hits into Bestine everynight at 8pm.

PvP is old. It's not even nearly as well done as DAoC and I never thought I would admit that ever.

As a Bounty Hunter I want to BE a Bounty Hunter. There is a resume' attached which include tracking down and eliminating my prey for CASH.

Instead our profession is relegated to the freakin trash bucket because of the constant whining going on in this forum, which Holocron apparently bothers to read. Just for once I'd like to see him, or at least OUR DEV, come into the BH forum and say HI.

We don't get that kind of consideration.

Bounty Hunters are NOT your problem, so get over it.

The biggest problem with PvP isn't that it's broken. The problem is that most people in PvP suck.

That's a fact. But it's these same 'sucking' whiners that are the ones getting their way.

Now if you guys want to discuss PvP all day, that's fine. That's what YOU are all about. You understand my point of view I hope.

But don't talk to me about being overpowered in PvP. I am not, because I am not a Master Pistoleer with a Novice Bounty Hunter tag over my head, the perfect combination.

I couldn't care less about your war. The only reason I picked it up was to replace my useless probot with an AT-ST as a workaround.

If you have all that much of a problem with BH in PvP, then why do you people keep flaming all the posts we have about being removed? I know, it couldn't be because you are dabbling in it, could it? That you want the power bonus without having to do the work?

THIS is the essential problem with PvP right now. It IS the Bounty Hunter imbalancing it, but not the pure BH, those dabbling in it for the power bonus. Complain loudly about this, have us removed from factional combat, your problem solved.

As a hybrid, the BH profession is NOT supposed to be picked up on the sly for power bonuses and the same goes for Smugglers and Commandos. If DEV restricted these professions, the problem would be solved. Simple as that.

I was pretty intoxicated when I made this post, but more than anything I was just bothered by the time and real money wasted. It was a conversation with my roommate that got me to cancel...

Me: Hey wanna see this Star Wars game? It's pretty good but kinda boring right now, I think I might cancel.

RM: Cool, what do ya do in it?

Me: Well, you build up your guy and run missions and stuff. You can join a side and fight in the war.

RM: Really? What kinda missions?

Me: I joined the Empire so I did missions for the Emperor and Darth Vader. Findin and killing stuff mostly.

RM: Cool lemme see one.

Me: Uh I can't. Did em all already...gimme 20 minutes and I can show em to you...nevermind.

RM: Go fight some people then.

Me: Ok...

*goes overt and finds a rebel, gets eyeshotted repeatedly by aTrapper, deathblowed*

RM: You suck. Why didn't you just shoot em in the eye?

Me: I can't, Imade em bleed though. See that...*points to little bleeding symbol*

RM: Heh, you really suck.

Me: Yeah...I do. I used to be able to do some pop and lock dancing, but I dropped it for more combat skills.

RM: And this costs you $15 a month?

Me: Yep.

RM: Idiot.

Me: Yep.

I'm being perfectly honest when I say that almost every PVP situation I have encountered in the past 2 weeks ended with Eyeshot spamming

I don't doubt it.

The really said/funny thing is mind pool is supposed to be heal-able, they removed it from medics at the end of beta to keep them from being unkillable (could keep refreshing all three HAM bars). *oops*
