Pistoleer disarm shots dont work for now but i think Disarming Shot 2 should reduce the conditionof a weapon.Say the weapons at 900/900.Then a disarming shot 2 hits you and lowers it to say 850 and also disarms it and does damage.I think that would be a nice mastermove since disarming shots dont workand classes are so unbalanced right now due to commandos and bounty hunters.

That is the worst solution for a special ability. I obviously don't speak for all pistoleers, but I certainly don't want to be known as "The Class that Breaks Weapons". This isn't useful at all and is just griefing. If you're in combat what the hell is the point of doing X damage to someone's weapon? It's not going to break in front of you. They'll still have it for the rest of the battle.

Disarming Shot should be a delay move like panic shot, where the target fumbles his gun (or other weapon) because you shot him in the hand.

I do not aim with my hand; he who aims with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I aim with my eye.
I do not shoot with my hand; he who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.
I shoot with my mind.
I do not kill with my gun; he who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father.
I kill with my heart.

I'm against too. I don't want my 150k gun to be slaughtered by someone in 10 hits. And I don't want to be able to do it either.

I'm all for it breaking weapons.

when all weapons break I'll be there to introduce my fists to people. disarm that.

I'm all for the temporary removal of the weapon, making the person revert to an unarmed brawler.

It would at least make smugglers and commandos not feel like they wasted those skill points

no no no no

its possibly the most single stupid idea to ever have been suggested by the devs, weapon damage wuth disarm shot.

its not usefull at all, except to annoy other gamers.

I like the idea of making them unequip.

Or...how about a posture change? It makes them sit for a short period of time (hehe).

Although I wouldn't want my own weapon destroyed by another player, I can see how giving us that power would actually make the Master Pistoleer a feared combat class. Let's face it, in PvP most people don't really fear the pistoleer as much as BH or commandos. If disarm2 was to hurt their weapon, nobody would want to mess with a pistoleer.

On the other hand, you'd have everyone and their mother crying about it, including the riflemen and carbineers, who don't have a similar attack....yet....

If they make Disarm into a delay action shot, it will end up on a 30 second timer thus making it fairly worthless. I'm hoping they add a nice state effect.

...which is why it should also inflict targeted Action damage and produce a Stun (or some other reasonable state effect). Even if the timer prevents the delay from happening again, you'll still get a targeted pool attack and a nice state effect.

Wait, I do agree BH shoudn't be a better Pistol User than a Pistoleer BUT I also understand Pistoleer shouldn't be as feared as a BH. Let's face it : they deserve nice combat overall efficiency.

Actually, ppl wouldn't fear us, they would fear our ability to ruin their fun. This I can't subscribe, sorry.

You make a good point, Dyriel...I guess the frustration of weak special moves in our class is getting to me.....

I do like the idea of disarm2 unequipping your gun...at least for a few seconds...but again, it'll probably not happen because too many people would complain. Hopefully the devs will give us some love in the patch....or patches....to come.

Yeah damaging a weapons is not a good idea at all. This has no use in winning a battle. I would like to see disarming shot actually unequip a weapon with no damage to it. This would be very useful.
