If I do a random HAM attack, what percentage of damage gets applied to the three areas, H, A, and M? I know the info is out there somewhere, but I can't find it.

In all atacks, inluding targeted spcials, damage is done 80% 10% 10%

So if you do a Health shot for 100 damage, 80 damage health 10 damage action 10 damage mind.

As for random atacks, I belive its...

55% chance for abody hit 45% for a leg hit and 10% for a head hit.....

Have seen it reported as:

1/2 health, 1/3 action, 1/6 mind pool, as the "target" for the shot.

Once target is determined, your attack actually only does 80% to the targeted pool, and 10% to each action/mind pool (I did test this part out, it's where the #s came from). Which on average still ends up being "basically" the same thing (1/2, 1/3, 1/6).

Thanks guys. Now I thinkI'm more confused than I was before, hehe.Let me try to clarify: If I'm doing a random HAM attack, does that mean there's a percentage chance (50% that it'll be H, 33% that it'll be A, and 17% that it'll be M). Thenit actually ends up being a targeted attack on whichever area it chooses, with 80% allocated to that area, and 10% to each other area?

Is that right?

Hmm, interesting...
So if you have a targeted Body Shot vs. a non-targeted shot, assuming for the sake of argument that they do the same damage, they'd be identical in effect? Save for the fact that Body Shot guarantees the hit location?

Ok, so if I fire my pistol in the woods and hit a tree, in the head of course, but nobody is around to see the tree fall, did I really use a special shot or am I just waiting to get nerfed?

I think it was determined that the distributions laid out as 55% Health, 32% Action, and 13% Mind.

Is that the distribution or the percentage chance of each area being targeted? If you're really sayingthat's the distribution, then someone has got it wrong. I tan't be both 80, 10, 10 and 55, 32, 13.

Plus, if that's the distribution, how do they allocate the secondary and tertiary damage amounts?

I think what he's saying is that it's 50 33 17 or 55 whatever, whatever to hit a random pool as your primary...

That is, if I shot you
