With AP1, I still couldn't get this guy down to even half health with Body Shot 2 before he healed up to full....What the f uck? A commando with flame thrower finally aced his ass.

This is the fallacy with DPS calculation. DPS gets you superior damage over time. Against a healer profession what you want to do is massive damage. This decreases the margin that the healer has to work with to get their next heal in.

In addition, you're targeting a health pool that they can heal easily also. I highly recommend fan shot or stopping shot against doctors.

We thank you for this really important input.

Of course Doctors are hard to kill due to their ability to buff and heal themselves. But frankly, was he in position to kill you ? I mean with novice Medic you can use Stims B that can heal you for more then 600, how exactly this doctor can be able to defeat a Master Pistoleer ? Just DoT him and keep on shooting him, if you're not alone, cumalative dmg will kill him before long, not to mention he would have use so many stims he'd surely rather be dead with first shot.

Yeah, even lowish-level medic with stimpack c's or d's would be able to heal themselves before dying with vs. just about anything EXCEPT a flamethrower at close range.

Well I am a Master Doctor and Pistoleer 2/3/3/2. But I can buff myself to over 3100 H & A, I have 1100 mind, the big surprise is the sub stats buffs, before I leave my house I am looking at over 2k to each of my sub stats, it is really quite amazing the damage you can take with these subs buffed, normally I heal automaticaly with these buffs as fast as I am hit by something or very close to it, throw in a few D stims and I can almost keep up with any damage.

If you were mind hitting that would be one thing, but going after a buffed up Doc with a bodyshot won't do much.

It is not like we have some choice you know, in our case it is more a "lack of option".

Use one of the many random HAM attacks and keep hoping it will hit mind over and over. If you are targeting my health or action you will loose just about every time. But the upside to this is that anyone can get these buffs if you just ask the doctors.

Well I dont think the AP1 is working at all for the DX2 - this should be a top fix for pistoleers.Mybuddy just hit novice BH, and he's doing far more damage w/ his scatter pistol than I am using a goodDX2 pistol. I believe both guns are supposedly the same in specs: AR1, acid damage. I'm getting 150-200 hits w/ the DX2, to my friends average 200-240 hits using the scatter pistol. I dont get it, I've tried the gun at differing ranges too.

Try throwing your DX2 at their head, it normally works for me....

I don't belive he was buffed, he just kept healing himself. The illogic of it was one more nail in the coffin of PvP for me.

That's why you use random HAM attacks in PvP, and that's why I don't like the idea of hainvg MTPS be health shot, personally.

Random HAM generally gets around "some" of the infinite healing a doc or really any buffed/armored novice medic can generate under fire.

Not sure what to tell you, I mean, pistoleers just don't have anything they can do against it, yet rifleman think we need 32m range. Lol, what as*es. Yay, we tickle your health pool, woopidee doo.
