Why not go backwards, seems to be heading that way with the nerfbat (and no not just pistoleer...devs are total retards if you ask me). I was thinking something like a nice rubberbandgun, with a sting DOT of 1dmg/sec. Could model it after

Will we be allowed to use the thick a$$ rubber bands, or will we be limited to the lil red ones?

I've seriously considered only using my Tangle as it is so weak no one could want to nerf it.

Well as you can see this is the uber weapon to have man! and if it hits imagine the surprise when it heals your opponent for 1k health and mind and action! Its the uber weapon of SWG!

I dunno if we will get the thick rubberbands. They might have better accuracy while running than a t21 and fire faster so the riflemen will probably complain and get it nerfed back to the stoneage. Guess we could pick-up rocks next and just throw those.

Rocks directed at the head do mind damage, that's Rifle turf.

Better stick to clods of hardened dirt.

although i LOVE the rubberband pistol idea , frankly we all know what will happen after 2 weeks live on the servers...every other fighting profession will be crying and the rubberband pistol will be nerfed..obviously

no what we should get is a SLING....but we wouldnt use stones as amo..we'd use GUM, and I mean already chewed GUM of course..

it could have a STICKY attack, reducing the movement speed for a few second, and it would be deadly against wookiees; they would have to seek an image designer and get a FULL BODY WAX

but because a fully waxed wook would be funny, everybody would stop fighting and start laughing, and the GUM SLING would be nerfed...

No, no, you all have it wrong. I know a dev, and he said they are putting a ping-pong ball gun at novice pistoleer. They will be re-vamping the DX2to 300-10000 base damage, and moving it to the Chef tree.

no i was thinking maybe a feather gun that does tickle damage that delays a target for one round but pisses them off to where they get to hit you 6 times the next round. and it wouldnt even shoot. it would just be a feather on the end of a long stick that had a pistol grip. and we could put it at master pistoleer too. we need a cert there.

Multiple hits with the feather gun could cause a loss of bodily copntrol and self wetting, which could be represented by the player automatically slinking away and not being allowed back into combat untill thet have changed their pants

I'm liking the feather gun so far....
