I have been a BH/CH for a long time and I will tell you if you put some thought into your skill choices you will far exceed anything a BHcan ever be, future nerfs/fixes considered. The new CH change chased me out of BH because I like to solo and in the currentstate of gamepets are needed and I didnt have the SPs to have both BH and decent pets.

Appon surrendering BH a new world called diversity opened up to me. I have mastered CH,omw to masteringpistoleer, got my medic back, and snagging a knockdown from the carbineers. Ive fallen in love with fanshot and stopping shot and with a 32% speed powerup im faster, more powerful, dont get hit as often, and more accurate when on the move than my bounty hunter. I have bada$$ pets, healing them and myself, and crippling shot is insane.

To those of you who whinedabout BHs you can simply f**k off. You have no combat skills and dont belong fighting bounty hunters or marksman for that matter. Everytrick a BH has is sitting out in other professions waiting to be earned and you have the skill points to get all of them and some. My chosen professions have all been cut down infront of me and the loudest screams have been coming from this profession.

Am I bitter? Yes

Do I love pistoleer and hate pistoleers? Yes

Good day

Dabblers like you are the very reason that the best skills in every class get nerfed. You talk like you're the one with a problem, but my friend people like you ARE the problem...

I'm a major dabber, but whatever. Right now I have bounty hunter pistol 3...working on 4 and stopping shot in pistoleer (working towards master). Point is, if you like bh go for it, that's what I did and its fun. Also stopping shot owns eyeshot to hell. lol I have won alot more battles with stopping shot then eyeshot, but I guess thats what scares people. Yes, bh is getting nerfed on eyeshot which is ok, because I like the speed and accuracy bounty hunter gets in pistol plus torso shot kicks ass.

Re-post this on the dabblers forum, our concerns are with pistoleer only.

How in the world have you come to the conclusion that Im a dabbler? Is that why pistoleers bitch? After MCH and master pistoleer I have 52 skill points left over. Now I see, all pistoleers dont utilize their leftover skill points and just leave them sit. Fools.

I hate to break it to you pal, but there aren't any skills in Pistoleer that are even close to what you gave up in BH. TorsoShot and EyeShot are way better than anything in our entire tree.

At this point it's not worth mastering Pistoleer unless you want the Smuggler Dirty Fighting line but don't feel you want to spend the points on Bounty Hunter. Even then, that's an awful lot of points to spend just to get Speed and Accuracy bonuses, given that you'll never use 95% of the specials in the Pistoleer tree.

A long time ago when disarming shot 2 still had knockdowni was a pistoleer/CH. at this time i still thought pistoleers were good even though they had some problems. There was a big patch coming up and i thought that it would put pistoleers in line with there deserved power. When the patch was released Pistoleers were nerfed, and there only good skill taken(disarming shot 2). I was outraged at sony's stupidity so i decided to go with the flow and i became a BH. If Sony keeps at this soon enough we'll see jedi's more commonly then pistoleers.

I think that currentlly Pistoleer is the profession with the most problems, and that a BH and pistoleer aren't even comparable as they are today.

I had high hopes for swg. the game didn't reach that height.

The first time i played this game was at my friends house and i thought it was great. After playing for awile there i had my character reach the title of Apprentice Gunfighter. I began to work towards pistoleer when my friend told me that all the skills i already hadfrom finishing that branch were just as good (maybe better) than the skillspistoleer profession. So i didnt play much at his house anymore.

Then i got myself a new pc and bought the game. I'm going for a BH/ Commando combo and im getting up to BH pistol 3. Just from those 3 boxes i will be able to over power any master Pistoleer, no offense im saying this so pistoleers will be made better. not for a show of power i don't even have yet. So im quite upset about the pistoleer being as bad as it is, Pistoleer is a great profession for people that want to use the cdef pistol when theystart. It could be a very good profession. But due to the lack of thought and creativity on SOE's part it is not only being out classed but also stinks in itself

PS: Crucio, havent i seenyou around?

A friend showed me this game and i freaked being the Star Wars fan i am and told him as soon as possible im gonna get this. I got it but im unsatisfied.

and whats wrong with dabbling? they did give everyone the same amount of skill points. my character has 2 master class but i see no wrong in dabbling. if i wanted to, i could do it to and so could you. dont whine because of a choice that youhave bound yourself to

That's pretty hard to believe. Pistolwhip only works within 7m of a mob, and you can only knock the mob down once every 30 seconds. StoppingShot is worse than EyeShot as a special, and you have less speed and accuracy than you do as a 0020 BH.

The only way I can imagine that you'd be better asa Pistoleer is if you're using a pet, and the mind damage from EyeShot wasn't stacking with the random HAM that your pet does. If that's the problem just get two more boxes of BH for TorsoShot and you're way better than you'll ever be as a Pistoleer.

I call you a dabbler because you're bitching that we should "diversify". Diversifying=Dabbling...they go hand in hand. To further make the point you go on to say that you dropped CH because it got nerfed and so on etc., The problem is that there really isn't enough skill bonuses at the master levels of the 3 main elite combat professions to keep dabblers or "diversifiers" in check. I hope someone at SOE reads this and can come to the obvious conclusion that when you master a combat profession you should get the best skills, not give them away to "diversifiers" early on in the respective skill trees so that like 1 million people have access to them resulting in mass hysteria and the subsequent unavoidable swing of the nerf bat. Ciao.
