And for the rest of you pistoleers, can you imagine the US army running around being master pistoleers. /laugh that would be funny, thats why you people are here in gaming land instead of out there in the real world(you dont have a clue how things work)... what would you put your money on, a guy with a pistol or a guy with a machine gun or a sniper rifle, they carry around carbines for a reason, pistols are weak, rifles are to big, not to say rifles arent ELITE, because the sniper to me is the most dangerous one of them all, or do you have a clue, or do you only hear what you want to hear.

Dang a army of people with pistol weapons, they wouldnt be able to get close enough or be able to penetrate most armor they wear

I said it before and i will say it again, pistols are the BOTTOM( i said bottom didnt I? ) of the ladder, pistols are the weakest of weapons and the people that use them are the weakest, (why do cops have swat teams if the cops using pistols are elite gun users) get rid of the useless carbine wieldingswat teams they are weaker then the pistol weilding patrolmen.

and yes bounty hunters are suppose to be the best in a 1v1 fight, thats what they get paid to do. thats what SOE made them that way and thats the way they will stay I GUARANTEE it

It depends... In real life they can make sub machine guns the size of pistols that can go through kevlar. Also, Pistols in SWG aren't projectile. They are blasters. Thus they have different methods of aiming their... damage?

I think we should look at Star Wars gunfighting more from a Sphaghetti Western perspective... Pistols are the most common side arms, they are quick to draw and easy to carry... But dont pack a punch.... But a MASTER of the Pistol could scare men right out of their pants, it didn't matter what they were packing...

Of course then again, a Master of the Rifle in those days was pretty amazing too... So would the equivalent of a carbine, each weapon when Mastered should be HIGHLY dangerous in ITS OWN AREA!!! NO CLASS SHOULD BE AN EXPERT IN ANOTHER CLASSES FORTE!!!

Its like saying entertainers ought to fix Health and Action.... Oh wait, they fix MIND RELATED wounds, Go figure...

In terms of Expertise

Pistoleer should be 100% with pistols

Carbineer should be 100% with Carbines

Rifleman should be 100% with Rifles

Bounty Hunters should be70% percent all the above, 30% Tracker/Trapper/ Investigator... BOUNTY Hunters are not gods, they are Bounty Hunters, they track down a mark, they capture the mark, and get paid for it... Bounty Hunters don't often kill unless paid EXTREME sums of money, and even when they do that, they HIRE AN ASSASSIN *Episode 2 ref*

Bounty hunters ought to be able to keep up with Elite FOCUSED proffessions and use PvP Smart of their own to win... And now they are going to use the arguement about skill points...

In three tiers of Bounty hunting Pistol, they are more effective then me at 2,2,2,2 across the board on Pistoleer.... See how this is WRONG?!! THEY ARE NOT A FRICKEN PISTOLEER!!! They are a MAN HUNTER NOT A WEAPONS EXPERT... OR at least he shouldn't be one... This is the wrong way to go for a BH, BH ought to be the opposite end of the spectrum of a Smuggler.... A few dirty specials, a couple of buffs and tools for doing work WITHOUT an outright fight... But enough ability that if a fight came about, they could hold their own...

there you go again still talking like this is the mid west when the pistol was the only multiple firing gun, when rifle was a single shot and nobody wore armor, and yes these are lasers not bullets but why would there be still carbines, rifles, and pistols in SW if not to say the rifles are more accurate and powerful and the pistols are for close range, this isnt star treck with remote controls that fire laser beams,

1) there is some sort of "chain" in combat professions
2) Pistoleers are stupid enought to fight a sniper on a Football Field.

Please!!!! someone tell me other then cuts to my childhood and how dumb i am, PLEASE!!! tell if you have ever seen an ELITE figting machine like the US army or any other ELITE profession running around with just a pistol.

They Use machine guns and rifles for a reason!!!!!!!!

Carbine = machine gun

Rifle= deadly accurate

pistol = 20m and in combat

And i think i am the only one in the pistoleer post to actually ever shoot a real gun, to know what its capible of, all of you obviously think that the guy that can shoot 50m with a pistol can actually even fight or be able to do it in a combat situation. he is a trick shooter made for TV. put him in with the marines and see who will win? should we bet some money?
