After trying for over 7 hours to do one, single, solitary G-D D-MN mission, I still havent completed it. Eather a bug causes me to crash, I have to battle 20 Nyms ships and hutt ships that have nothing to do with the mission plus the 10 mission ships resulting in my death, or getting all the way to the last mission step one and two happen, I tried to get a group. I sat for 2 hours, shouting "Paying people to help me complete my mission!" And having NOT A SINGLE G-D D-MN player even consider it. What are you thinking trying to force both PVP and grouping?! Do you not realize that everyone isnt in a guild, or not everyone has hordes of friends to help them at every single turn? Also sony, you greatly overestimate the quality of your gaming comunity. And if anyone says it takes "sKiLz" to do these missions it doesnt, ti takes luck, and tons of buddys. Neather of which I appear to have. I guess the cuasual gamer should move to EverQuest 2 or something, since this is a slap in the face to me for having to stick threw a year of broken boring game to get JTLS. Now that its here I wanna trade it in for a broken foot, atleast I know the foot will get better over time.

the best way to get other pilots to help ya on a mission is just to offer them to help em with their missions first... ez way to make friends and to get your own missions done... so stop complaining that nobody wants to help ya (i must admit i did this myself but it didn't do any good) and start helping others (this helped me alot in return)...

You're right that static and random spawns can spoil your mission and fun doing em easily... i've created a ticket, submitted feedback and whined alot about this... only answer i got was, this is the way the game is meant to be... mmmhhh... so this means it is meant to be that for one player missions are easy and for others who end up in spawns near mission targets extremly hard to impossible?!? ... think something should be done about that

Otherwise ya can do those missions without problems if ya have some buddies with ya, but that would make group-missions to become solo-missions and i don't believe that the game is meant to be that way, eh?

I have helped others in the past, I saw a guy I helped earlier in the week and asked him to help me back, no response. I sent him a tell just in case he was looking at something else and he said he couldnt help me. I offered to pay the guy 10K to help me complete one mission, he laughed. Great comunity im having to rely on huh? No game design should force you to group for this very reason. It may be great for people with tons of relyable friends, but im having to rely on total strangers who dont believe in helping other strangers out. Its frusterating as hell.

I wouldnt be so furious with this game if my entire progression wasnt based around what other people want. I dont like depending on others in real life, im sure not going to like it in a game. I have earned enough XP allready to be master pilot, but I cant, because of one near impossible mission that I cannot complete simply because people are to stuck up and greedy to aid me. Mission based progression is a dumb idea, no other profession has it besides jedi, and im not sure but a master pilot by far is not a jedi. They are not rare in the Star wars time line, pilots are everywhere. So why are we being treated like we are? I have the xp, I should be a master pilot.

Huh, and here I though the reason that Luke was so well known was for being the pilot that blew up the death star... you remember that "one in a million shot"? Something that is not what everyone else can do.

Stop whining that you can't be Master Pilot, and enjoy what's there.

Yes, luke is clearly the only master pilot in the universe. HE WAS A FREAKING JEDI! Not even master pilots could do that! But I see why you post the way you do, you want to be like a jedi, and master pilot is the only way you can do that.

i am sorry for you guys experiencing a lack in the community. All i can advice you, come to corbantis

and i'll help you. *JK*

No, really .. there are a lot of egoist (is this word correct?)in the community. It was also hard for me

to get a grinding group together... so i just offered them to help em with their mission ... i got

a group of 6 together in no time .. after that we went my duty mission and had a blast ... 1mill xp

in 2hours and some decent loot ...

What i also experienced as good, is to join a PA.You wont be friend to allpeople, but you may find

a hand full there and you get a guild chat .. this way its easy to stay in contact and you have a 'forum'

to ask your questions ... JTL is a blastwhen grouping up, but also doable solo, if you ask me ...

I finished all rebel tier 3 missions solo and tier 4the first...

GROUPING is a lot of fun in jtl ... people just haven't figured out yet :-) don't give up brother

<sigh> No, you are incredibly wrong. I want the Master of ALL CLASSES to be RARE! Not common, not something anyone can be. Something that only 5-10 players in the whole server can be. Not just pilots, ALL CLASSES.

See, I don't even want to be one of them, tell you what, if it is sooooooooooo important to you - you be one of those few, be a MAster. Fine, that doesn't change the argument, that having every other player a Master ruin immersion of the game.
