Jump To Lightspeed Archive

This is just a post to vent a little. I go through this series of missions with little problem, inspect the ships, destroy the interceptors. Than I am told to go after the imp inquistor in the Dantoine system. OK, easy enough. Jump to Dant. and get the waypoit which is about 8000 to 10000 away. Go all out with speed and for the fourth time, the lambda Im suppose to destroyjumps away and the mission is failed. There is apparently no way to get to the shuttle before it jumps. Any suggestions?

Im maxed on the equipment I can use and I don't think a wingman or a group will make a difference. Im hitting a brick wall here.

Here's a little fix for that problem. When you get to the waypoint where the lambda supposedly is hit the N key to bring up your spatial map ...It's a little crappy (the map itself) if you ask me but try to see which hyper point is closer to where the lambda is. I did the same mission with a friend of mine and he was hypering to a point 11k away...I found one that was closer (think it was israls veil off the top of my head) and that was only 5.5k away. Made all the difference because we were 6k closer. Try that.
