So here i am in kessel on my first tier 5 mission , I killed 29 that's right 29! imperial fighters. Guess what happens...thats right some assclown one shot kills me .... great idea SOE woot! This is ridiculess fix this now! Take the mission out of KESSEL!!!

You're not the first to who it happens... Why not kill only 1 tier 1 ship inside a non-pvp-zone-even-if-you-go-covert and you're master ? Oh, yeah, and got all best ships/components as reward...
It's supposed to be hard, mate... And PVP is a part of the fun, just take a few freinds with you next time...

Please take caps off when you post, it hurts my eyes. 
I have not gotten to master yet but I hear the last mission is insane. I agree with ya, should be taken out of kessel or instanced.

the fun part is that when beta players started threads about it when it just went live, we had a whole bunch of dudes saying it's "challenge" and they "liked" it. now I can't see those anymore.

Yeah, it really should be taken out of Kessel. I see what the Devs did... they put it in there because they didn't want the "master mission" to be a piece of cake. It would be a bit disappointing to get all that way and have a really weak mission that was no challange at all. But having it in a PvP zone is too much of a challange. Either it needs to be moved to a planet like Dantooine, Dathomire, ect. or you should get a temporary invulnerability against other players as you're doing the master mission.

Its a gate on the number of master pilots. See if everyone got to master within a week they run into the whole "no content" theme that has worked so well for SOE the past 15 months. Once there is nothing for people to do they start to cancel in droves again.
It will be interesting to see what happens to the membership base in SWG over the next couple of months now that there will be other quality MMORPG on the market. The past 15 months what competition has SWG had? CoH? Please.
Will be very interesting. I know what game I will be buying/playing next week.

I'm right here. I'm currently 4333 and LOVING Kessel - I'm not in there to PVP, i'm there to level my tier 4 boxes. If someone attacks me, i'll shoot back.
Kessel is exciting, it's not the same "fly in circles until you've killec your target". You have to think, scan the area, know what's coming and what you're going to, and be careful.
Kessel and Deep Space add the 'dangerous' to space... NPC's dont really scare me unless i'm in the Kessel system, because 3 NPCs is no big deal, 3 NPCs + 1 player is.
Oh, and btw, not all of the pilots in kessel are 4444 or master, there are plenty of lower level players in there.

Except it is now only a reward for powergamers who will get it in a week, casual players will hardly ever get this as the more powergamers get it, the more it will be camped.
This is cartering to powergames and griefers as they are the only ones who gain content from this.

if you get hit with one shot by 1 guy, your not a master.
That means everyonr who has JTL though.

What ifa Master Pilothappened to accidentally fly in front of the Deathstar when it opens up? What then??
Aside of that though - how major decisions are usually decided is with some yahoo at the end of a large oval table in front of several other guys in suits (in SOE's case, sweat-suits) - and the guy pitches thought he dreamt up the night before...
IE - Jedi "unlocking" via professions;"City Warn"; PvP-ish requirement for Master.
There has to be a vote for decision - it's not just one guy say'n "THIS is how it will be". Ultimately it gets approved by one person in the end, but it must first pass up through the ranks.
