I have just become 2222 freelance pilot and cannot find the next NPC for my quest.

I went for the smuggler route and just finished the NPC in the Mos Eisley Crashed Ship/Cantina

Talk to the dude in the normal cantina the smuggler leader he will send you to jabba.
