I have recently purchased jtl and i love it............ but now that i have completely done all of the missions for my rebel pilot trainer on tatooine she told me to go to dantooine to talk with another contact for missions. The problem is i just have a starter ship without a hyperdrive and there is no possible way that i can afford a higher level ship to upgrade with a hyperdrive. I know i could travel to dantooine via starport but it wouldnt take my ship there...... or would it?

No, it won't take your ship with you. Welcome to the world of grinding. You'll need to do a bunch of ground missions to get enough credit together to buy a real ship, with real components. Then it gets harder. LOL

Your ship stays at the starport you landed it. For hyperspace travel you need a player made ship. Go to the ground and do missions for the money. Maybe it take some time, but on the other hand, JtL wont get "old" to you that fast. Or maybe talk to some Shipwrights, maybe one will make you a ship for cheap or sometimes there are some ships on the bazaar...

What server do you play on? If you're on Gorath, I'll hook you up with some money and a ship. The space game is dependant on the ground game, so it would stand to reason you need to work on the ground game to upgrade better stuff. If you are on Gorath, let me know.
