I just started the artisian role and am currently mining ore to compensate for ship prices.....what kind of ore do you guys need the most....what do u guys prefer...how much should i sell it for to u guys? would you guys make me a ship for free if i supplied the ore?

Carbonate & Silisatic Ore are the 2 types of Ore required by the Shipwright, although if they are grinding any ore will do. Most important stats are OQ & UT.

For craftingchassisthere is no specific Ore type, but alot of the other ship components require either Carbonate or Siliastic Ore.

Regarding the matter of trading resources for ships - best thing to do is to find a local shipwright and ask him - it might be an idea to check with the Novice shipwrights though, thereason beingis thatto master Shipwright its a matter of resources, if you approach a Master it means they had the 5+ million of resources needed to master it, so probably won't need your help- the people who will be desperate for resources (and will be more willing to trade ships for it)will be the Novice shipwrights.

The most used resource in shipwright isnt Ore though - its Steel - you need about 3 mill units of the stuff to Master, again OQ & UT are the most important.....however Ore seems to be alot harder to find on resource vendors (unless its the 30 cpu stuff that is)

As for prices, its difficult to say - usual prices for a decent ore can be anything from 5-20+ cpu. Best thing to do is maybe get a contract with a local shipwright to mine resources for him maybe, especially if you don't have a vendor

You'll need a lot of heavy harvesters to be able to keep up with the demand even one shipwright will need (especially if hes grinding xp) one ship chassis can use about 50k of different resources, half of it steel, quarter of it Ore, and the rest Polymer, Fibreplast, Iron, Alum.....

Shipwrights need resources in bulk though- going to them with 20k of ore and asking for a ship in exchange for it will probably get you laughed at.....
