The role of the Deciminator is to be a ATTACK VESSEL. THe Deciminators best role is being fully loaded with players, and all the missel sport filled with the best space bombs, and the bestconcusion missles. The Deciminator should be coverd by atleast 1 fighter. The Deciminator would then be used to attack CAPTIAL SHIPS with its space bobms, and fire concusion missesl at fieghters.
That is the best way to use the Deciminator in combat.

The Decimator is the size of a small gunboat, yet it only has one slot for shields even though it has 500k of mass to play with.
If anything, the Master level MP ships should have a slot for a second shield generator, since at that point PvE is just elementary. The role of Aces should be to help others reach Ace.

and thats exactly what i do 
they do need stronger shields and armor, all multipassenger ships do i think. they could either make multipassenger ship only items or they could increase certain things like shield strength and armor by 30% or something when on a multipassenger ship.

Love the idea of the multiplayer master ships having two shield generators. Great idea.

i do agree in rogue squadron 3 on the game cube on the info bit on the lambada class it states it had multiple sheild deflectors, so i would think they would have too or at least have the option...

Decimator should have a third and possibly fourth turret. The Nova could bethe fastestand more maneuverable, and the YT-1300 could be faster than it is atmand have a forward firing gun in addition to the turrets.
Sounds balanced, doesnt it?

Are you useing lvl 9 or 10 shields, I forgot how high they go, but if you are useing lvl 6 or 7 well....

Hummm, I havn't got that far yet, not in a hurry so give me a couple more weeks. I doknow that npc multi-player ships are the devil to take out, and the ones we fly should be just as hard, good luck mate and I am sure the dev.'s will consider your notes.

I tired this therory out last night i took donw 1 corelian corvet + escort gunboats and 3 escort fighters
I had 2 opressor escorts
